Answer:	I'm not exactly sure what they are made of, but they are great for kids. My granddaughter has had her set for about four months and she loves to play with them. They seem to be made like regular pots and pans just smaller. I would recommend these.

Question:	Is it at all possible that there is lead in the paint
Answer:	I'm certainly NOT an authority on lead based paint. I'm assuming it shouldn't go into a Childs mouth, but my GRAND son loved this, and it seems very durable. Some of the other stuff just won't hold up, the handles come on so quickly. I looked this up on the internet and they are made in China, however--Most toys are made in China, so I can't answer your question.

These are quite durable, but the paint will peel if a toddler gnaws at them or something. I know this from experience. lol.

Answer:	Yes, Most of the Melissa & Doug products are made in china.
Question:	Are the loops large enough to hang from the Kidcraft kitchen pegs
Answer:	I’m not familiar with the pegs to which you’re referring, but with the exception of the whisk, I can slide the utensil loops to the first knuckle of my middle finger. I can slide the whisk a bit past the first knuckle of my pinky. I was also able to hang each from both a large and small head thumb tack. So with that said, these utensils should fit on standard pegs. We’ve really enjoy this toy and have also purchased the Melissa and Doug pots and pans. Keeps my little one out of my organized cabinets!
Question:	Are these durable enough to use for actual cooking or just pretend play
Answer:	They appear durable but I not knowing the metal contents I would not use them with actual cooking or heat. They are wonderful for play however.

Answer:	Yes but I'd put them in something like a mesh sock washing bag or something to keep them together.
Question:	How long did this entertain your child
Answer:	I would let my 1 year old play with these but not unsupervised. They are pretty well made but I would worry that the green stem might be bitten off if the child was left unattended and managed to try to really eat the pretend fruit. My 3 year old knows better than to eat them or stick them in his mouth so I don't worry about him as much as a younger one. If supervised 1 year old's would love this.
