Answer:	It should work on all boots as long as the heel of your boots aren’t under 2 inches wide. Very well made product! Built to last!

Answer:	Probably. The "U" gets narrower towards the bottom, to allow for smaller shoe sizes. My women's size 8 work boots only go in about 30%. So I would imagine it will accommodate a women's 5.5, unless they are very narrow.
