Answer:	I've only ever used this trap outside and it's holding up to the elements. I've had it for about 5 months first in my chicken coop then moved it to my hog pen and all that's happened to the trap is that it's gotten quite dirty which alittle dish soap and a hose will fix.

Answer:	No other setup required. Two notes of advice though: 1) I HAVE had mice escape from this trip. somehow they got back out through the trap door. A little fiddling with the flap fixed that. 2) When you DO catch mice, be careful when opening the lid. They will jump out. So take it somewhere far away from the house or wherever you set up the trap.
