Question:	Can i use 4 of these and the matching center with 2 psw505 for a decent HT? 14x14 room
Answer:	Definitely yes, I have a Polk RM6750 subwoofer and 2 of this speakers with the matching center and they sound clear as water. Besides you can always lower your subs volume if its too much. Also remember the power your amp have is important, I'm using a Sony STR-DE335 amplifier which sends 100 watts per channel at 6 ohms and nothing has gone wrong yet. So far I have played music, movies and the morning news and I'm always happy about the clarity and loudness on only a 3.1 system. My guess is yours is going to sound much better with the 5.2 you are building. Nice pick and good luck with your shopping.

Answer:	No. They come with a mount that slides into a dove tail slot on the back of the speaker. The mount has limited movement. No 90 degree angles.

Answer:	Answering late...for others needing help - you need active speakers to connect directly to the turntable otherwise you will need to connect the turntable & these speakers to an amplifier.

Answer:	The 2 sets of speaker 5 way binding posts are for bi-wires or bi amps if you remove the bridges so you can by-pass the speaker cross-over. It's a waste of time and money since you will need an external cross-over. I wouldn't bother with it at this price point. They are as good as you can get for the price.
Question:	Why do these have a set of two connections at the back? Is it for two audio sources
Answer:	Oh my gosh please disregard any of the stupid people who said its benefits are debatable, or that it helps midrange. Those people shouldn’t answer questions about things they obviously know nothing about. I’m reporting those answers as not only wrong but intentionally ignorant. The truth is most people have their front 2 mains wired to the receiver. Today’s receivers are 7.1 and more 9.2.4 or 11.2.whatever. However most users choose not to wire speakers to the extra surround and Atmos channels. 5.1 being fine. So in addition to wiring the entire speaker to just the front Left and Right, you can remove the metal connecting both sets of posts. Leave the original speakers wires. Now go into your receivers set up menu and go to speaker set up. Most receivers have a selector for if you’re using the front-above speaker option. If not, now you can run a 2nd speaker wire to both speaker and connect to the 2 unused posts. The immediate benefit is that instead of only 2 of the amp’s 100w channels pushing the whole Left and Right, you now have 4 of the amp’s 100w channels pushing your speakers. Each speaker gets 200w.
Question:	Is there a "practical"reason for these speakers to have so many individual speakers inside them
Answer:	Yes. Oversimplifying but hopefully still useful: There's an ugly trade-off between bass quantity and quality. Larger drivers have more surface area (volume really, as a speaker is effectively an irregularly-shaped piston for pushing and pulling air). More surface area means more bass. But it also means more inertia and typically sloppy or booming (mid-)bass lacking in detail or transient response ("edges"). Smaller drivers respond faster and create tighter, punchier, more accurate (mid-)bass because it can respond faster, but less low bass due to the reduced surface area. Using multiple smaller drivers is an attempt to retain the tight and accurate mid-bass but also team the drivers up to move enough air to extend the bass down low. It's an attempt to keep the best attributes of both approaches. However, real bass-heads might still want a little more low bass. Fortunately, really low bass (say 20-60 Hz) isn't particularly critical and you can get away with a massive woofer like 12" or even 15". For this, a subwoofer is perfect. If you add a subwoofer to a speaker like this, be sure to cross it over well below 100 Hz, as you paid for bass accuracy and you wouldn't want to degrade it by too much overlap. Think of the subwoofer as turning your 3 way speakers into 4 way speakers. You don't want much overlap. As with any free audio advice, take nobody's word for anything and experiment for yourself. Every room and every ear is different, so I might be all wet. That said, there' s the rationale, in a nutshell.

Most home audio amplifiers and speakers operate with (and assume) a total of 8 ohms of resistance per speaker cabinet, so when you're looking at a 100-watt per channel amplifier, it's assuming that it will take 100 watts to drive your speakers to full volume with a resistance of 8 ohms pushing back against the amplifier. Now here's the problem: the documentation for these speakers lists 40 watts RMS and 75 watts peak at *6* ohms, which nobody here is translating into the 8 ohm standard. Luckily, we have a couple of mathematical equations to figure out the difference. I'll do peak first, since that's the power level you don't want to go over. First, we have to determine the voltage for a baseline. We need three numbers for this: the wattage (P, for "power"), the resistance (R), and the voltage (V). Ohms Law states that the voltage (V) is equal to the square root of the wattage (P) times the resistance (R), so our equation is V=√(PxR). In this case, we know that P=75 and R=6. 75x6=450. The square root of 450 is roughly 21.2, so that WOULD be our voltage for the next step, but we don't actually need it, because we're just going to be squaring it again anyway. Answer:	The R-14M is a passive speaker that requires a receiver or amp to power it.

Answer:	As far as studio monitors, you are correct, they are not completely neutral. They are very efficent speakers however and far exceed the power ratings Klipsch specifies. Their ideal situation is really for home theather rear or side channel surround sound as effects channels. They also make a very powerful, high-fi bookshelf companion for a mini system. I am currently using them in a 7.2 Atoms setup and they knock it out of the park. If you are truely looking for 1-1 studio monitors, Yahmaha is they way to go but have your checkbook ready. ;)

Answer:	The remote I received didn't show LG. So I can't answer your question. Each time the remote came it was a different brand. Calling LG the remote cost $30 or more or its discontinued. Honestly you could purchase an universal remote that is compatible with your unit and run your surround sound with an opitcal cord. That's what I did and I haven't had an issue. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The SSCS5 has respectable bass response for a bookshelf, down to 50 Hz or so, but I would highly recommend you pair with a decent subwoofer for best results. I use the SSCS5 in a 2.1 setup in our master bedroom and they absolutely slay for movies and music! The imaging and soundstage is spectacular. Really no need for a full surround setup if space is limited or you don’t want to monkey around with wiring rear speakers. However, pairing these with a good subwoofer makes a world of difference in the impact you will experience for movies. If you listen to a lot of electronic music, a good sub is a must.
