Answer: I have a tall 4-year-old. I bought this knowing it was going to be somewhat big on him, he's a little skinny thing. The fit in the waist was what I expected. I pinned about an inch on each side, but the length was ridiculous. I had to hem the legs almost up to the silver band. My son weighs 37 lbs and stands 46 inches tall. Hope that helps!

Answer: It is made of plastic. It has eye and mouth holes and an elastic strap to hold it on. The plastic really isn't that flimsy. It's not the type of plastic used on costumes years ago where the slightest bump creates a dent.
