| Answer: | Hi there! Great question. With the DUPLO® 10508 Deluxe Train Set, builders could hit a button, and the train would stay on until it's turned off or the batteries run out. With this DUPLO train, the Push & Go mechanism is similar to the button - the train will go until it's pushed to stop, or the batteries run out. The biggest difference between the sets is that this one has some new added technology. The train engine includes a color sensor that will read action bricks placed on the tracks. Depending on the action brick used, the train may stop, change direction, make noise, etc. This train also has an optional mobile app for added functionality.
