Answer:	It's what it does - but mine can be set as low as 10 minutes beforehand I want to wake at 6AM so I set my alarm for 5:50 - the light gradually comes on for 10 minutes and the tone chimes at 6

Answer:	You can only dim the daylight color. When you try to dim the other colors it will just cycle through all the different colors.
Question:	Can you just use the sun light feature set at a certain time for wake up, but keep the sound off so no alarm makes sound
Answer:	Yes, you can directly control the volume of the sounds (0-10) and the intensity of the light (0-10). I usually like to set a vibrating alarm on my watch and the light with no sound. Makes a very mellow wake up especially in the early mornings before the sun light comes through the windows.
Question:	I used this for the first time today and noticed that the alarm turns off by itself 5 min into it. (have it set to radio) is this normal
Answer:	This is how they are apparently (poorly) designed to work. I am probably going to try and return one I was going to use as a gift because of this. 30 minutes before the alarm time set, the light will gradually increase and the audio alarm will commence at the time programmed. The audio alarm (regardless of the alarm sound or radio chosen) will then play for 5 minutes. After which, the light and audio alarm will shut off. I like to lay in bed for at least 15 minutes listening to the news on the radio and I find this very irritating. However, I have to say I will keep one of these as the gradually brightening light feature is much more effective at waking me up than I would have guessed. It is more effective at waking me up than the daylight lamp on a light timer that I used to use. Which would just come on full bright at my chosen time. I might set an additional clock radio to go off at the same time to compensate.

Answer:	I’ve had no problem with the focus on my ceiling... and I don’t think it is adjustable. Maybe there is a protective film covering the projector. You may have to return it.

Answer:	Assuming the clock can receive the signal from the US atomic clock, it should work in the mountains. The clocks have a time-zone setting on them.
Question:	Does this clock automatically change between standard time and daylight savings time? if not, how does the owner adjust it
Answer:	it is supposed to, but we would have to take it to another part of the house to pick up the radio signal. We just change the time zone back and forth from mountain time to pacific time. Much easier than resetting the clock every six months!

Question:	I've had this clock for a year now. The projection light will no longer stay permanently on - it used to. What's broken
Answer:	I can only say that we have had about 5 different Oregon Scientific RM 313 PNA self setting projection clocks and after about 6 months the projection light goes out and we have to re order another one because we don't know what to do about it.we also need an answer

Answer:	Pushing the alarm button once turns it off for the day. Pushing it twice turns the alarm off, period. (Look at the display & you can see the alarm is not set.) To set the alarm again, push the button. Look at the display, & the alarm will show as set.
Question:	Can the projection light be repaired
Answer:	I have no idea. I have had it several years and have never had a problem with it. My hunch is that it would cost more to repair it than to buy a new one, but that is just my quess.
Question:	if the power goes off in the middle of the night will the alarm still go off in morning
Answer:	Yes, presuming that the batteries are in and working. When the electrical power goes off, the ceiling projection light goes off but the clock, face illumination and alarm still work.

Answer:	We show only the time of day on the ceiling. The time also shows AM or PM. We have elected to not attempt showing the date.

Answer:	I'm able to angle it. But, when you get it too far away from you (like across the room), it distorts the numbers. I like it on my night stand because it gives a nice, crisp reading. And, I don't have to move my head much to see it.

Answer:	OMG, our LEGO Darth Vader clock worked perfectly for about 5 years. Then, with no explanation, one day it was just on military time. I tried fiddling with it, pushing all the buttons changing the settings and replacing the batteries. But nothing worked. I gave up and left it on military time. About 1 year later I decided to google it and fiddle with it some more, hoping to find some kind of build-in reset hole, like with a wrist watch. Still nothing worked, so I finally tried taking out the batteries one more time, waiting a few seconds and putting them back. Aha! The unit immediately beeped noisily for a few seconds and now it's back on standard 12 hour time! So I guess keep traking out the batteries and waiting a bit before putting batteries back. IDK why, but it worked the 2nd time around...

Answer:	It just make the sound of an alarm clock, not voices or anything, by the way the batteries that comes with it last about a year, maybe a little bit less.
