Answer:	This set has a motor, a battery box with built in switch, a remote wired switch and a light set. This set requires the user to flip the switch to closing the circuit for anything to happen. Look for another set with remote control by using the key words "LEGO IR Remote". You should find several items. A complete set with motors, battery box, IR receiver tower, IR remote as well as some of these listed as individual items.

Answer:	I would say this kit is compatible with most Lego kits. My daughter has the Classic Bricks and Gears set. She was building things that turned and moved with the gears. I thought that it would be fun if set could be motorized, so I purchased this item for her. She loves it. Now she has apes that can swing and carousels that turn. Wish that I could upload a video because it's fun to see.

This Power Function set is an expansion pack that can be used with most LEGO Technic sets as well as some other LEGO sets like Creator or Marvel Super Heroes. If you look at sets 10257 and 42053 you will see on the box there are call outs to add LEGO Power Functions. In the back of the set building instructions there will be instructions on how to add these to motorize the set.Once you are familiar with how LEGO Power Functions work you will only be limited by your imagination and you can then use these in adding functionality to anything but most sets will not include instructions on how to do so.

Answer:	It is in fact a Illager raid as the Illagers (Pillagers and Vindicators) are considered Illagers and they are the ones doing the raiding so the Lego set is correct in the terminology. When I purchase sets I almost always look at the official Lego site first and then I notice whether it says on the Amazon page ships from and sold by Amazon, if both boxes are checked I then purchase the set. I have purchased many Lego sets and have yet to get a knockoff.

Answer:	I have both boxes. I'm not sure if I would say it's a better deal. I bought the medium one for $30 at Target and it has 484 pieces which is a pretty good deal, I think. but the bigger one is double that price for 790 pieces.

Answer:	Really depends on the toddler, and whether that's "just turned 2" or almost 3. Some 2 year olds are still sticking stupid things in their mouths, in which case this is a safety hazard. Neither of my kids would have been ready for this at 2 exactly but my younger one was playing with regular small legos a few months before he turned 3 without problems while my older one (almost exactly two years older) found them frustrating at the same age and even at almost 4. Just depends on their fine motor skills.

The Medium container I purchased included a book showing how to build animals, flowers, and other things. The grandchildren, ages 6 & 9, love to build with the blocks. I don't think you can ever have too many Legos!!

Answer:	yes and no... there's no choking hazard, but the wings are always falling off. The wings click back on easily, but when he's playing with it they tend to fall off under normal 4 year old 'flying around' conditions. Now he mainly plays with it as the "This one crashed" with the rest of his toys. The cockpit canopy was also has a pretty tight closure with a small lip to pry it open, and taking the pilot out and putting him back in during normal play also led to the pilot not being put back and is now MIA.
