Answer:	Hello there. Congratulations on educating the next generation with rocks. I agree and believe whole heartedly that many lessons can be taught with gravel. Point of fact, I taught my son about gravity with the help of a rock. First Newtonian gravity by dropping the rock, then basic relativity by stretching a piece of cling wrap over a mixing bowl, placing the rock in the center, and rolling marbles around the rock, demonstrating orbital physics. Granted, the latter demonstration required additional props, but replicating the fabric of space/time with a flexible stretchy rock seemed difficult. To answer your question, however, "Can we dispense with calling everything steam?" you may discontinue the use of the word steam to describe all nouns and verbs at any time. In fact, I encourage it. It seems a rather confusing practice to me anyway, not unlike Squanchy in my humble opinion. I prefer to reserve the term for discussion in reference only to water in its vapour form and on rare occasion to Victorian and Industrial inspired douchebaggary, but only when preceding the word punk. I leave it to you to use the word as you wish. I hope this answers your question.

Answer:	Hi there, this is the Knex Customer Service, but please note the item is being sold by a third party reseller. This Kit uses the micro sized Knex pieces, which are used in 90% of Knex Kits. The "core" sized pieces are larger. To answer your question, this kit is compatible with most of the Thrill Rides Knex Kits. Some of the kits may have "core" sized Knex pieces (slightly larger) but the majority of the set is built using Knex Micro sized pieces and roller coaster track. Question:	Has anyone received this with parts loose in the box
Answer:	The parts were not loose, but I was missing some. I just emailed the company and they sent me a bunch of replacement parts! They stand behind their toys!
Question:	I'd like to get this but I will also need to get a container to keep all the parts in, any idea how large a container I would need
Answer:	If you keep the box like we did you would be able to put every thing back in the box, It does not come with a container. If you need A container you would need about A two to three gallon container
Question:	Would this be a good starter set for a very bright nine year old? Can he make his own designs with this set? Will it teach him about engineering
Answer:	Yes. My kids had a great time.will teach planning, visualization and engineering skills. May need some adult supervision since some of the directions are very detailed
