Answer:	Ping Pong Balls would be sturdier in terms of material, of course I'd guess ping pong balls could be punctured by determined puppies who feel the need to chew. I don't remember anything regarding bpa content or the lack of.Pop n Play purchase came with a bag of these balls. I ordered an extra set. Though, the bottom of the Pop n Play was sufficiently covered, I felt two more bags would make the experience of tunneling and hiding under the balls an even better experience for my ferrets.My ferrets have picked a couple of balls to carry in their mouth. Inevitably, they bit in to the ball for a better grip, thus the ball will collapse. Hence, the necessity of strict supervision when they are playing and carrying them around. Fortunately my ferrets carry just thes two that have collapsed. They don't gnaw or chew on them, the just pick up the ball, wrestle with it and or move the ball around in their play pen. I hope this reply gives you a little perspective in your consideration of purchase. Congratulations on your shih tzu pubby-babies. For puppies the balls would be an acceptable size. We also have a shih tzu. She is an older "baby", about 6 to 7 years old. (Rescued off the street in a thunderstorm, about 5 years ago. Vet estimated her age to be 2+ years at that time.) Though, she is not prone to play with the balls, the the balls, her mouth is small enough and balls large enough, there is no imment risk of swallowing one. Answer:	I am not sure what that toy is, but these are plastic and if hit with a hammer, they could dent or smash, depending on how hard you hit them. The dent can be removed by squeezing the ball and reshaping it. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I don't see why not. It works on our Playskool learn n' grow busy ball popper. And Hasbro sells Playskool replacement balls that say they work with "ALL playskool ball poppers". So the playskool ball poppers must all have the same balls.As mentioned previously and in my review- the balls are lighter so the pop higher and farther.

Answer:	That is what mine does as well. The first few times with brand new batteries is pops up bit mostly the balls just hover. I'm a little disappointed. My daughter did play with if from about 11 months to 20 months.

Answer:	I haven't had to buy replacement balls yet but I do know that almost all balls from Playskool toys are interchangeable. I did see on amazon that there are other balls that seem to work just as well. Search "Marshall Pet Products Pop-N-Play Ball Pack". I believe they are originally made for ferrets but the reviews were great on replacing balls for any Playskool popper. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Yes. I ordered them from the playskool website and ordered 3 sets since they always disappear. Some ping pong balls work well, too and are much cheaper.

Answer:	Yes. The trunk moves to either have the balls fall in the left ear and then be shot out again, caught in the right ear and saved in the belly, or out into space for your child to run after and catch. Be warned, it is extremely loud with no volume control for the music, and fan is fairly loud as well.
