Actually picking the stick up and hitting the other one. The one that looks like a flute it works pretty much like it. You blow into it and start putting your fingers on the holes and learn the different sounds. Its a very Peruvian sound. The one that looks like a long wooden corn shape with lines sideways. Answer:	I used a hot, soapy wash cloth to clean the outside of the toy. Do NOT submerge the toy in water- particularly the cloud part, as that is where it lights up. Using a sanitizing wipe on the toy is just fine, or, like what I did with a hot, soapy wash cloth. I have a spitty baby, too :)
