Question:	can i start with seeds in these instead of the plant
Answer:	Actually I did get some gnats so I put a piece of clear packing tape over the hole after I fill it and that keeps gnats away. It works great!
Question:	What kind of coco soil come it come in
Answer:	The soil wicks up the water it needs, so after a few hours, there is no water left in the bottom. If there is water left after the soil is thoroughly soaked, I would advise you empty the excess water left in the bottom out because it can cause your plant to rot. This system does not attract mosquitoes in any way unless you cause it to happen.
Question:	How tall is the pot
Answer:	These pots would be excellent for growing plants from seeds since the soil will stay moist which is critical.
Question:	what fertilizer do you use in the water
Answer:	Yes, I would think so. They are fairly sturdy. I wouldn’t put them somewhere they might fall or get knocked around in harsh weather, but otherwise they should be fine.

This self-watering insert keeps dirt and roots above the hidden reservoir while constantly providing healthy “greenhouse-like” moisture through the evaporation process. How a Self-Watering Planter Works: When big drainless pots are given more water than the plant can use right away, the water settles to the bottom and the potting mix begins to rot, eventually becoming a stinky, waterlogged mess that will kill plant roots. Question:	How many pots come with this
Answer:	Please note that after water being injected into the inner pot from the water injection port, the water will be stored in the inner pot, and the plants automatically absorb water through the substrate.
Question:	Do i fill it this planter with soil directly? wouldn't the bottom be filled with soil? or do i put another pot in this planter? thanks
Answer:	I have only planted plants, but don't see why you couldn't plant seeds; however, might water seed and dirt from the top rather than pour the water just down the reservoir until the seeds have started growing.
Question:	How do you know when to add more water if you can not monitor the water level in the reservoir
Answer:	The black inner pot is easy to remove and clean, as is the water gage.
Question:	I want to use this for a hanging plant I have, does water leak out of the bottom
