Answer:	Yes, ours had mold after about 3 months. We just cleaned it with bleach and a toothbrush. Next time we see mold we'll just buy a new set as our 21 month old really loves this toy. Annoying though with the nasty mold.

Answer:	The only printing I could find was on the orange tube. There are two circles the one on the left has a ring that goes around it with the numbers 1-12 and the center is a dial with the number 1 and 6 on it, the dial is pointing to the number five in the range of numbers. Next to it is another circle. It has numbers around it from 1 to 30. The arrow is pointing to 20. Under that it says GS 101-01 and made in China. There is no recycling symbol.

It depends on what size you are comfortable with. But I have a 12 and 16 for when I do get better. And if you see them on sale jump on them because Kolinsky's are expensive.
