I just made a 110' flag pole for the Delaware memorial bridge and was welding 1/2 inch thick pipe with no issues, cant be in S-mig mode outside its parameters normal mig handled it fine . Has air cooled tig touch Troubled me a bit always had water cooled torch ...again had no issues welded a slow thick bead about 4' long torch didn't even get warm .... I have pics of the Flag pole cant put here ill update my review and add them there.... hope this helps you.

Answer:	This unit will put out 200 Amps @ 220v. Basically about the same power output of a Lincoln Buzz Box which will do 225. For most applications, even fairly heavy metal...that's more than enough power.

Answer:	You may have something jammed in the jaws; check. A little WD40 goes a long way when stuff doesn't move, that's supposed to move.Possibly, try loosening the screw that holds the blade in place. I haven't had any trouble with mine.

Answer:	As said above, this one has a pilot arc. It is worth the extra hundred. I bought the lower priced one, and it is a major pain to try to figure out how to strike an arc in different situations. Rather than rig things up so it will strike with the circle cutter and a straight line cutter, I decided to abandon the lower priced model and make it easier and better on myself. I mean, how many hours would I work extra to make the lower priced one work vs. paying the $100?

Answer:	The one I received did not. It was a 220 plug. No option for 110 plug at that time. I bought the adaptor.
