Question:	Can I use it for car audio ? I will not be solderingvwire thicker then 10 gage an no thiner then 16 g Is this the right tool for me
Answer:	I have used my old 8200 (the 9400 is supposed to be a reworked 8200) on my house wiring. Rather than just use the twist nuts on a bundle of wire, instead I use my 8200 and some 1/8" rosin core solder to solder the bundle together, and then put on the twist nut. This way, there will NEVER be a chance of my connections failing. I have wrapped as many a 5 #12 wires together and soldered them with the 8200. Be patient as you heat up the wire. It may take as long as 30 seconds to get the work temperature high enough to melt the solder. So in answer to your question: this is definitely the gun you want for soldering #16 - #10 wire. Make sure you use rosin core solder, too. Anything else and you will be disappointed with your solder joints.

Answer:	This gun doesn't need a stand. The tip will be isolated by laying it on it's side. Not good enough? go get a chunk of wood and an old wire coat hanger. Put one in one hand and the other in your other hand. It will come to you...

Answer:	I don't think 140W is enough for #6 conductors, I would not expect it to handle bigger than a #12. You'll need a torch or a heat gun.

Answer:	Becky, I'm going to chime-in and qualify my answer to your woodburning question. I've had the pleasure of operating several irons. Electronics, electrical and also woodburning. All three skills require the correct tool to work with. This iron in question was designed to work as a tool for electrical. I'm a tool-time kind'a guy and would put a turbo on everything, if I could. Knowing a little of woodburning, I would ask you to imagine not only the tip being used to burn with, but also some of the intricate hand motions you might use to achieve your effects. An iron you can roll in your fingers will be of much more use than this straight-on hand grip can offer. These irons must be "tinned" before use to be used on wires. Also the "instant-heat" I love so much may ruin this gun if held constantly on. Weller is a Great choice, they make very good irons and guns. Answer:	the chrome tray comes as a separate piece with an adhesive backing that you apply yourself. if you choose no to apply the sponge tray, then the surface beneath that you are left with is completely flat, with no rectangular indent.

Answer:	i have not had this problem, so it may be an issue with your iron. you could attach a heat sink to the holster as a way to dissipate extra heat. just take some aluminum foil, wrap half of the piece around the hottest part of the holster and expose the other half to as much air as possible (i feel compelled to note that you should always only have a single continuous piece of aluminum)

Answer:	The product comes with five main parts, 2 screws and 1 screw with a wing nut. The parts are: the station, the fixture for the soldering iron holder (this screws to the side of the station with the two screw holes), the soldering iron holder (which screws to the side of the fixture), the solder dispenser reel, and the stainless steel basin (which comes with sticky pads to permanently stick it to the station and a sponge to clean the soldering iron).The fixture for the soldering iron holder screws to the side of the station with the two normal screws.-the fixture should be on TOP of the station, with the two screws going DOWN. The soldering iron holder screws into the side of the fixture. -this part of the fixture sticks up, has a ROUNDED SHAPE on top, and THREE holes in the shape of a TRIANGLE.-with the side of the station that has two holes facing you, the metal flap on the bottom of the holder should be FLUSH against the fixture, and the ROUNDED PART of the holder should be pointed to the LEFT.-the metal flap of the holder should be screwed on the OUTSIDE of the fixture.-the SMALL METAL PIECE on the metal flap of the holder goes in one of the two BOTTOM holes of the fixture.-the WING NUT screws into the U SHAPED HOLE (the U is upside down) on the metal flap of the holder and the TOP HOLE of the fixture. The holder can be moved higher or lower by loosening and tightening the wing nut.The reel slides into the downward openings in the station. Answer:	You could solder silver jewelry with this torch. Use silver bearing solder made for jewelry.

Answer:	The LEXIVON Torch is shipped with no butane. This is done for safety reasons. Please use only high-quality butane that made for torches and jet lighters. If the wrong butane is used, the torch can clog and sputter. Make sure to use only butane was refined at-least 3 times. Question:	Does this come with the stand shown in the picture
Answer:	Omar, yes it comes with a stand for the soldering iron, but it is not identical to the one shown in the picture. My kit came with a stand made from a thin sheet of metal, with part of it able to be adjusted for the height of the stand. In other words, it doesn't have the blue plastic base that the picture shows. The stand that my kit came with did the trick though. Hope that helps.

Question:	Butane varies in quality. How pure does it have to be for this unit
Answer:	Though most qualities of butane will work with this unit, I believe you will get a longer useful life from this torch by using a cleaner, refined butane. I noticed some clogging on mine from using a standard quality butane at times.
