Answer:	I didn't know you could cut glass with soldering irons but apparently you can haha. I Googled it "soldering iron to cut glass" haha. This should work just fine for you but it depends how thick the glass is. Wine bottles are thick, it may work but probably take while.

Answer:	I have never used it in a LIPO application, but I have soldered 8 AWG copper wire to 1/4" copper ring terminals and it worked just fine. an 80W soldering iron is pretty hot. It will be difficult to find electric irons with more wattage.

Answer:	I believe so yes. However, "used constantly" does not mean that you have to hold the trigger down 100% of the time. It gets really hot. I have been able to make multiple solder connections just with the residual heat that the tip has after releasing the trigger. Then pull the trigger again and in a few seconds, you're back to full strength. Again. This gets REALLY hot.

Answer:	The clamps will hold something approximately 7/8 of an inch. We do not have larger clamps available at this time. The alligator clips do unscrew and can be replaced with another 8-32 threaded clamp.

Answer:	The base is 9" x 6". The steel plate it is made from is 3/16" (not 1/8")

Answer:	The silver color metal housing where the tip goes into has a diameter of 38 mm. The tip itself has a diameter of 21 mm. The width of the flat end of the tip is 26mm.
Question:	How do you get additional tips for the 300w soldering iron ? curved, straight, normal, long life
Answer:	I’ve not had to have new tips yet. I would try contacting the manufacturer.
Question:	Is there any reason this item could not be used to heat damp planks for bending on wood ship models
Answer:	There is no reason. My concern is how thick are the planks and how much force you need to exert. If it is something like a 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch plywood I don't think it can bend that.
Question:	what replacement tips do i order for the 300 watt unit
Answer:	It depends on the configuration you want. Mine came with the right-angle tip shown. I didn't like the right-angle tip because it was awkward to solder in a straight line. Also, this tip is heavy and tends to tilt. That said, I think the seller offers a straight-tip.
