Answer:	I didn't attach it to my wall. It is hanging from my doorknob. It is a little heavy but there is some industrial-strength velcro strips that might hold it up. I know each strip can hold 10 lb and it's worked very well for me in situations like this. Only thing is, if it's outdoors, you have to worry about the theft. Answer:	I may say yes, the latch came apart totally that give you space to placed anywhere, It seems to be water-resistant, I am a Realtor and use it for doorknobs, not really in constant exposure to possible water.

Answer:	Most likely overtime, anything banging/hanging against the door would mark it up. But this lock box does have a heavy rubber backing which seems to minimize scratches from happening.

Answer:	If I understand you right, you want to turn the shelf sideways in the locker? If you do that you will be losing access to some of the underneath area, as you will have to reach through the legs to get to your belongings that are stored under the shelf. Answer:	There is no override manual key, so if you lose the code you will have to try the 10,000 possible combos... why I do is open up a document on my phone and then lock the document. Or put in a safe place...

Answer:	The legs come off and you can lay it all flat in order to carry it to school, however it is not very sturdy.

Answer:	Yes, you can but you must exercise some measure of judgement here. First of all, it is made of metal and intended for books in a locker - books are notoriously quite heavy when it comes to stress on shelving. OK, so that's a good start. Recall that dirt is also very heavy so you have to be sure you are not intending to put something extraordinarily heavy - meaning a very large pot with very heavy dirt. That issue aside, however, it should be just fine. Metal can take a fair amount of weight and, in the very worse case scenario, it will buckle under versus just snap the way plastic would. Most plants you have should be just fine on this sort of shelving. The nice part is that you can put a plant underneath in the space and another on top. Question:	Is there an emergency override to the lock? My code no longer works
Answer:	From what ive read, there is no way to unlock the box if you have forgotten you code. However, a little tid bit for you to possibly help you on your journey of oopening it again. A typical code of 1, 6, 2, 7, 3 is the same as say 5, 0, 4, 9, 3. Basically the code registers "sides" but provides numbers for you to better disguise the code. So if your code was 12675 then its really left side, left side, right side, right side, left side. So basically pressing 1 as your first number in reality you could press the 5 and it be the same. So as long as you press a number on the same side as what you thought you originally programmed it as then you may eventually get it back unlocked. Not exactly the answer you were looking for but atleast its something you can run with until you crack it.
Question:	how to change code
Answer:	You can change the code - This assumes you used your old code and got the lid separated from the box - pull of the white Kidde plastic plate off to reveal the set screws and corresponding button numbers - Get your magnifier glass out - look very closely at each screw to reveal the directional arrow - which is almost invisible to the naked eye. Stand the lid with the key holder up - (1 off 6) on the instructional plate. Then with a screw driver align all the arrows on the screw straight up. That means all the 10 screws are in the off position. Then press clear on the Front of the lid. Now write the numbers you want to use as your new code. (A birthday might help memory usage) Next with your screw driver, on the screw side of the lid, turn only the numbers you want to use in the on position down or in the opposite direction (0 on 5). Now press the clear on the other side of the lid. Time to test push the number pins in your new code and try the open button. You will see both the open and the clear buttons move and the lock moves inside the device to lock. Put your key(s) on the holder place the Kidde white screw cover back on and you are good to go. You must put the code in. Hold the OPEN button down on the lid until you position the lid on the box bottom first never releasing the open button until it is in the lock position. You cannot open the box without a working code.
Question:	I bought, Kidde AccessPoint 001413 Key Safe, just put it on door recently with help of a friend, dialed in code, worked once & never again. Please help
Answer:	Mine worked about a week. The first amazon person to help me was expecting me to go through the company that manufactured it! Then I was to send back with my key in it! Finally I got someone that got realistic and refunded me. Good luck! I was very unhappy as I had read all reviews.
Question:	I have forgotten my code. Is there a way to get into the box without the code
Answer:	Perhaps with a hammer and chisel On the side of the lid will pop it open.There is no way to reset the code nor is there an override code. You can always try to guess. At least it doesnt lock you out after so many wrong tries.

Question:	Can this fit a garage door opener
Answer:	It would fit a 1.5"x3" opener in it on the bottom, not hanging. I could fit two of those openers side by side. It would probably fit even better without the metal clip on the back. Although it should fit still fit with the metal clip on the back.

Answer:	The user sets the combination and can therefore set them all identically.

Answer:	Yes, small tags with small rings. I've used a few. Also, the tags come with a set of numbers you can stick on the tags.
Question:	The cabinet is locked, clear button is being slid down, combo is entered but the knob just turns and doesn't open the door any advice
Answer:	I figured it out using a light and magnifier allowing me to see the arrow indicators were almost all turned ON. I rotated them all to OFF and slid the "Clear" button. The lock was unlocked. I started from beginning to set a code following the instructions again. Voila...It is performing as expected. Basically, check/reset all the buttons to OFF, Clear, no combo is set. Turn your number arrows to ON, Clear, combo is set.
