After I was fixed a ton of my muscles turned to fat so i'm assuming it's the same for women after menopause, just not as extreme.Your estrogen level could have a big effect on your amount of fat and muscles.

1.The safe is shipped locked. To open it for the first time, use one of the two keys provided.

2.Install four AA batteries (not included). The battery compartment is behind the door.

3.Reset passcode: There's one button on the door's medial part, press it and then input the new passcode(3 to 8 digits). Each pressing results one buzzer beep and yellow light flashes. Then press "#" button and the green light will be on.

4.Rotate the knob clockwise and pull outwards within 5 seconds, the door is opened.

*Caution!!!

1. Don't leave your keys in the safe. If you forget your password or the battery is dead, you will never be able to open it.

2. Under normal condition, if both of the red and the green lights are on at the same time, it means the voltage is low and you should insert new batteries.

3. When outage for longer than thirty minutes, you need to reset the user’s code.

4. If the yellow light flashes with three buzzer beeps, it means password typos, so you need to input the correct user code.

After you release all 4 ends and the shelf is removed, you can press up the bottom of the shelf holder and you should be able to remove the shelf holder and move it to a preferable lever and adjust the shelf. Answer:	Actually, you cannot. I own this safe, and I have the user's manual. You can turn on and off the keypad beeps and such, but the *door open* beep that begins once the door has been open for a couple of minutes cannot be turned off. Here is a link to the user's manual.
