How to reduce the chances of scratching your prescription glasses?

Always leave a gap between the protective front of OTG glasses and the lenses of your own glasses - they shouldn’t be touching in any way. If you wear thick frames, place the upper bridge part and retracted foldable arms of the OTG’s on the top of the bar/rim and hinge parts of your own frames. If you wear thinner frames, fully extend the foldable arms of the over-spec glasses and wear them slightly off your nose. Always make sure both pairs of glasses are secure and snug on your face.

How to best keep the lenses in good condition?

To safeguard the protection features of your glasses, and get the best of them, we recommend you gently wipe the lenses with a dry or damp microfiber cloth to clean the sides, ear and nose pieces, and store them in the NoCry protective case (sold separately) when not in use. Avoid using rough cloths or household glass cleaner, as these can scratch and damage the coating, defeating the point.

Will these glasses be slipping off your face?

No, they won’t - because we know how annoying that can be. They’re designed to sit firmly on your face, have better grip, and yet still be comfortable - the soft rubber covered tips grip firmly behind the ears, and the curved extendable temple arms can be angled to ensure a snug fit for any head size or face shape. Answer:	Price gouging is a violation of Amazon’s rules of conduct for sellers. They’re definitely in violation of this! Today they’re $30 a pair which is triple the original cost from December 2019/Jan 2020. We do reviews and wanted a pair but i cannot justify this price.

Answer:	From an engineering perspective, the smallness of the vents greatly reduces air flow around the eyes, preventing drafts or slight air currents from blowing across your eyes, which will reduce your exposure to things floating in the air such as dust or aerosols much more significantly than, say, a face shield or even goggles with much larger vent holes. The smaller the opening the less can drift in and these have pretty small openings. From a medical perspective, these are not 100% sealed so not as rigorous protection as positive pressure hoods and the like. They will not make you invincible nor give you medical procedure level protection, i.e. not for hospital staff doing intubation procedures which should have medial grade equipment, but these will reduce your exposure via eyes more effectively than a face shield. I do agree that the label "complete seal between your face and the environment" implies much more than these really do and should be removed from the description; however, the vent area being so small does offer more protection than many other basic safety goggles on the market.
