Answer:	No. The camera is not wireless, but you have a lot of opportunities regarding its use on your Ecobee smartphone app! I love mine and the security that it offers!

Answer:	The "Window Mode" setting turns off the infrared lights used by night vision.
Question:	Would I be able to use this with my Synology Surveillance station
Answer:	Yes, you can. It has a setting called "Window Mode" to help support this (from the app: "Window Mode allows your camera to see clearly through glass at night by disabling its infrared lights to remove glare"). Because of the layout of my front hall, front door, and outside front porch, the best place for me to put the camera is about 5 feet from the (glass) front door, point out onto the porch outside. This lets it catch motion outside and start recording.
Question:	Can you hang this product upside down
Answer:	The camera is not motorized and only works in a stationary position. However, it has a wide field of view which they use to create a virtual pan effect, making it seem the camera is following you (even though it is stationary the whole time).

How can I extend the range of my Arlo system?

Does motion detection work through glass or windows?

Motion detection does not work through windows reliably. Arlo cameras use motion detection technology that is inhibited by glass, especially windows. Passive infrared, the type of motion detection used by Arlo Wire-Free cameras, detects changes in heat. Most glass used in homes today is insulated, limiting the movement of heat through the glass.

Answer:	No, there is no internal battery. It needs to supply continuous power to it.
Question:	What is the storage capacity of the device? Approximately how many records will it hold before it runs out of space? Can more storage be added
Answer:	The amount of recordings greatly depends on too many variables to answer this question. I have mine set at 2k, recording during all doorbell rings and motion detection in the medium sensitivity setting only at night. The kids like to play with the doorbell, and we get fairly frequent deliveries so it sees quite a bit of traffic. It currently is storing over 100 video clips for the past 10 days.
Question:	What's the power requirement to the doorbell? What voltage is required
Answer:	16v @ 30VA is the standard voltage for doorbells in the US, which is why the Eufy uses it. This translates to 16V @ 1.875 A. It is very inexpensive to buy a power adapter with these specs, an Amazon search shows several basic power adapters for less than $12. You can even search for “doorbell transformer” on Amazon and see dozens of options for $10-$15, including ones that plug into a wall outlet. Note that you can go higher on the amps (Useful for very long wire runs), but the voltage needs to be in the 16V-20V range otherwise you risk damaging the doorbell and creating a potential safety concern.

Answer:	I would say that if the door bell was place in an area that when your gate was open (manually or remote) the motion detctiontion function will notify you that there was movemnet i.e. gate open.
