I timed it, after thirty (30) seconds the light shut off, I was able to hold pressure again and have light in the Turbo mode. So one is able to do the Turbo mode more than once but it appears that there is a built in mechanism that initially shuts the light off (obviously to conserve battery power).

Question:	What is the difference in this and the “granvella” version that has a rubber button
Answer:	The "Granvella" version is a rebranded older version of this flashlight. I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to sell it as their own under copyright law, but I'm not sure of that. I would not buy it if I were you.
Question:	Does the casing material (brass vs. al vs ss) directly influence product performance/longevity? does the case act as a heat sink for the led
Answer:	Performance will be the same regardless of the material. The battery contacts are the same in all of the lights and the battery contacts would far more important than the casing material. However, stainless steel would hold up better. I have a Fenix stainless steel AAA light that has been on my key ring since 2012 and it barely shows any age. I don't know how well the black coating will hold up.
Question:	Does this flashlight have memory mode function
Answer:	Yes, K18 will memory the last mode when light turn off. But strobe mode do not memory.
Question:	Does it came with the light diffuser shown, when used in candle mode
Answer:	Yes, it come with a fluorescent light diffuser as the picture showed. You can use the light as a candle to illuminate a room on a flat surface.
