Question:	It says 2X more pheromones "than competitors," but what's the difference in strength between this and the Comfort Zone original formula

Answer:	No..I've used them several years and no over heating. You have to keep them filled and they work well. The electricity heats the fluid so you need to refill them or they're heating empty glass.

Answer:	It is sometimes normal to notice a warming smell when plugging in the diffuser for the first time or any time it has to reheat. We recommend allowing 48 hours to see if the heating smell continues. If it does continue after about 48 hours, please give us a call at 800-234-2269 so that we can assist you.

Answer:	You may need to determine first why your cat has stopped using the litter box. Health problems and/or advanced age can be a cause. Check with your vet to rule out a medical issue. If your cat is elderly, you may need to add a second litter box in a different room. Sometimes an aged cat just can’t make it to the box in time. Also, some cats decide they just don’t like pooping and peeing in the same box. If your cat consistently pees in the box but poops on the carpet, you should add a second litter box in a different room. Don’t put the 2 boxes in the same room. If none of the above situations apply, the location of the litter box may be the problem. While humans prefer to “hide” litter boxes (behind doors, in closets, etc.) cats don’t care about privacy and generally do not like litter areas where they could be trapped or where they feel cornered. A good location for a litter box is quiet and low-traffic, and gives the cat a good view of the entire room, including any doors/doorways. When cats are busy doing their business they feel more vulnerable to predators, so they need to feel safe from being cornered or ambushed. Choose a spot with more than one direction of escape from the litter box. (For example, under a living room end table, or in a bedroom/bathroom/kitchen where litter box can be entered/exited from 2 or 3 sides.) In the meantime, you may need to use more than one Comfort Zone diffuser (1 per room) until you figure out the right number and locations of litter boxes to stop the carpet soiling. This problem can be 100% solvable if you are open to adding/moving litter boxes to fit your cats needs. Good luck :)
