Answer:	It sure should, my Fire Helmet is thicker, and it works well, I would say you should have no problem getting it to mount right up. For climbing a standard headlamp would be center mounted, but the durability of the streamlight will out weigh the headlamp. Answer:	I do not own this light, but a comment was made you would need to buy a $200 flashlight to light up the Boeing at 130 feet. I would suggest you try MAG D cell LED flashlights. They are not pocket size but will set you back less than $30 and will throw a bright beam well over a 100 yards. IMO MAG is probable one of the few that rate their output in a straight forward manner. The 3 D cell LED will throw a beam 412 meters/1351 ft./450 yards and is rated at 168 Lumens. But MAG will truthfully tell you the light output at that distance is equal to a very bright full moon. You likely will not see a missing rivet.

Answer:	Not this one at least. I have a story those those who don't think an LED flashlight can do this.....I do have another light that burned me pretty bad one time. Manker E14: small light unregulated 1000 lumens on high and a copper head to wick heat from the driver. Second degree burn; I had a gnarly blister for a few weeks after that.
