Answer:	I do not own this light, but a comment was made you would need to buy a $200 flashlight to light up the Boeing at 130 feet. I would suggest you try MAG D cell LED flashlights. They are not pocket size but will set you back less than $30 and will throw a bright beam well over a 100 yards. IMO MAG is probable one of the few that rate their output in a straight forward manner. The 3 D cell LED will throw a beam 412 meters/1351 ft./450 yards and is rated at 168 Lumens. But MAG will truthfully tell you the light output at that distance is equal to a very bright full moon. You likely will not see a missing rivet.
Question:	what happens when the battery is worn out and won't take a charge? can you replace the battery
Answer:	Not this one at least. I have a story those those who don't think an LED flashlight can do this.....I do have another light that burned me pretty bad one time. Manker E14: small light unregulated 1000 lumens on high and a copper head to wick heat from the driver. Second degree burn; I had a gnarly blister for a few weeks after that.

Answer:	I use my Gobee light purely for late night runs in and out the saltwater marshes for shrimp baiting season Sept-Nov. I have had my light for 2 years now and it still performs flawlessly. After each use I take the light and place it back in its storage bag(that it comes with) with the remote and put it under the seat in the boat. I stays there in between shrimping outings and during the offseason. I usually spray a little WD40 on the connection points at the base of the pole once or twice during the season but thats it. Over all, I have been extremely pleased with this light! Would buy again in a min.
Question:	How well will it hold up in salt water
Answer:	Yes, Golight recommends a minimum of 14 gauge wiring. This model requires a minimum voltage of 12V and requires at least 5.5—6 amps to function. A minimum of a 7 amp fuse is required.
Question:	The standard wires in my boat is 8 gauge is that strong enough wire keep it from overloading and melt the wires if fuse doesn't blow

How to code

Connect the light to 10-30V direct current. After the light turns on, take the remote controller, press the switch button (ON/OFF) within 30 seconds (more than 1min will be invalid), and keep pressing for 6 seconds until the light flash 3 times (long flash). Then coding succeed.

How to Lift Code

1. After the light turns on, take the remote controller which already coded with the light, press the switch button (ON/OFF) within 30 seconds (more than 1min will be invalid), and keep pressing for 6 seconds until the light flash 3 times (short flash) and the light turns off automatically, then code lifting succeed.

2. After the light turns on, take any remote controller (no matter whether already coded with the light), press the switch button (ON/OFF) within 30 seconds (more than 1min will be invalid), and keep pressing for 6 seconds until the light flash 3 times (short flash) and the light turns off automatically, then code lifting succeed.

3. The light can re-code with any other remote controller after code lifted.

4. While the process of code lifting, if the light is under SOS flashing condition, it will stop flashing immediately. (P.S, totally 30 seconds including the 6s keep pressing period).
