This spot measures roughly 8 inches in diameter at 3 feet, and maybe 2 feet in diameter at 10 feet. For what it's worth, I carry one of these everywhere, and has been very helpful to my aging eyes. With intermittent use, the single AAA can go a week or two (maybe more). Love these! Don't know if I helped at all, but I gave it my best shot.

I'm not sure I would use in C1D1 without direct information from the manufacturer.

Answer:	I believe that there is supposedly some guarantee. However, when one pays $20 for two flashlights, there should be a warning sign of "buyer beware" since a $10 each flashlight with that many features is too good of a deal. I go into such purchases with the attitude of the item being "a throw away" when it breaks. Hopefully you get enough use from it to make $20 a good deal!

Answer:	Highly unlikely. Both my lens fell out without even handling them in about six months. The recoil on a shotgun is a fairly violent event. I don't see it lasting long at all.

Answer:	They are to use with the 18650 rechargeable battery (not included). In my opinion they work better and make the light brighter than using the regular batteries. It only takes one of the 18650 batteries instead of multiples of the other.
Question:	How does one start and stop strobe light
Answer:	To go through the 5 available modes, you double click the button. On-off: brightest; On-off: Medium; On-off: Lowest light; On-off: Strobe light; On-off: SOS. It will cycle through all 5 each time as you click the power button. So, you can't turn it on for a steady beam, turn it off and turn it back on again and expect the steady, brightest mode...you have to go through all 5.

How to change the Flashlight modes?

There's 5 lighting Modes: High / Medium / Low / Strobe / SOS. At the first click, the light is on the full brightness- high mode, LIGHTLY press down the rear button and release to change modes, FULLY press to turn off the light. Memory Function: Turn off the flashlight at any mode, and then turn it on again after a few minutes. It is still in the next mode of turning off the display.
