Answer:	Well, Nicole...I haven't run with it. I use it to light my way to the chicken yard at night to secure the henhouse. But it fits on your head in three pieces, two around the crown and one over the top from forehead to nape. It feels as though it would be secure enough to run with. I like it very much.
Question:	Can I use this to read at night
Answer:	Yes - I do use this to read at night. My Kindle may have spoiled me, as regular books appear "just plain dark" and I find I no longer like limiting myself to "that one chair near the lamp". If I want to read on the couch or on the porch or wherever, the light isn't good enough and the head lamp makes reading in those places practical. Yes the light is comfortable enough to wear while reading, and the variable light settings allow you to pick how much additional light you need.

Question:	As the headlight is charging the lights turn on. I turn them off but they eventually come back on. Is this normal while it’s charging
Answer:	The display tells you what station the radio is on, but is not visible when wearing the radio. Also, the display is not lit up. So if you wear the radio at night, or in the dark, take it off to see what station it's on you need a flashlight. Changing from AM to FM and shutting on and off is done with one switch and is tricky
Question:	Anyone have a problem with the red safety light in the back not working when pressing the on/off button on the battery case
Answer:	Oh GOD NO!! these weigh really no more than a standard pair of ear muffs. Comfortable to wear 12 hours straight. Which I have done by the way. Batteries have lasted 18 hours so far.
Question:	do you have to take out the batteries & put them in the charger
Answer:	Yes, there is plenty of room for adjustment. I wear a size 7 1/2 hat and i can wear these over my hat and sunglasses. And they adjust small enough my 8 year old son can wear them.

Answer:	We haven't tried any others, but the Howard Leight Hi-Vis is pretty good for us out in the twigs. The reception varies with the atmospherics, of course, but my husband is a talk-radio guy and he's pleased with this set.

Question:	how does it come in packaging? in a box? in a bag
Answer:	an LED is not like the old tungsten bulbs of yore. LED's are generally rated for 50,000+ hours of service. The old tungsten filament headlamp bulbs were rated for somewhere around 1000 hours and you were lucky to get anywhere near that. The secret to longevity with an LED is it's heat sink. The cooler the heat sink can keep the bulb, the longer it lasts, providing the power supply is not flaky.
Question:	Can you remove the strap that goes over the top of the head from front to back
Answer:	With optional clips, yes
Question:	Directions? How do you put these together
Answer:	It's designed to use any *button-top* 18650, which I didn't realize until after I got it. Since most of my 18650's are flat-top, it was very easy to put a slight bend in the (+) contact to get the flat-tops to work with it.
Question:	What is COB
Answer:	No the 2 different modes cycle separate. It would be 4 pushes from off to off. If you held it for 3 seconds it would be 4 pushes to turn off again.
Question:	Does it come with any Spare bulbs
Answer:	I do not know about photoelectric, but if the home is say about 10 years old, u may have connecting wires with the entire house. Those wires have an adopter, all u have to do is plug into the fire alarm, u are going to buy. The purpose of those wires is, interconnection, if one alarm goes on, the entire 5 will start buzzing.
Question:	Will it connect to a hard hat
Answer:	I replaced existing ones, so no I haven't. That said, they would draw so little power, I doubt it would be noted at all- energy of the alarm is from the 9 volt batteries.
Question:	Can you use regular batteries
Answer:	No, it’s the hard wired kind with battery backup (9v that you replace)
Question:	when I wanna turn off the light I need to pass all 8 modes
Answer:	I called Kidde and told them I needed a replacement for my existing Kidde Model 1275 smoke alarm. They advised that I could replace the Model 1275 with either the Kidde Model i12040 or i12080. Both of which have the exact same wiring harness and base / ceiling plate. The only difference is the i12080 has a light which illuminates when the smoke alarm activates and also requires two 9 volt batteries rather than just one 9 volt for the model i12040.

Answer:	Yes, this contains two headlamps. They are the brightest headlamps I have ever owned. Really nice product, Holds a charge for about a week, with daily use of an hour each day.
Question:	I have the old version of this headlamp and like it a lot. Is the new version better? If so how
Answer:	There are two buttons on top of the lamp. Push the right button (on top) and you get the highest lumen output (500). Push the right button again and you get a reduced amount of lumens (not sure the level). Push the right button a third time and you get a flashing light of 500 lumens (warning/locator light). Push the right button a fourth time and the light goes off. This is the only way to get all the modes in a very small package and for it to be very light weight. It is an acceptable process for all of my uses thus far. Now, push the left button (on top) and you get the "stealth mode" light. This requires a wave of your hand in front of the lamp to 'trigger' the light on. Another wave of the hand in front of the lamp 'triggers' the light off. There is a blue light showing on the top for this mode. To turn the "stealth mode" light off just push the left button again. No blue light on the top indicates it is off. I enjoy the lamp and use it for all sorts of tasks. My only warning is to not look directly into the lamp as it will take a while to get the ghost shadow out of your retinas. Also, do not point the lamp at anyone nearby or they too will have a ghost shadow on their retinas for a while.

Answer:	The rechargeable batteries I really like them they do seem to run down a little faster because it burns brighter with the recharging batteries but I like a lot of light

Answer:	It takes quite awhile to charge. I don't know the exact time but it's easily over 3 hours. I use mine for overnight fishing trips , if you don't mind the long wait time it lasts s really quite a long time after its fully charged. Its also really bright compared to other store bought items.
