HOWEVER, since they can't be ordered as a specific pair (if your want 2 for stereo), and can't specify the color, you don't know if you're going to get a red and white or two of only one color. Answer:	I'm guessing that it may have something to do with the Zoom and how much light the have focused on a single spot. Although that may go against the definition of what a Lumen is.

As an added bonus if you get the Nitecore D2/D4 with the car charger cord you can charge anywhere. Plus the D2/D4 can charge other types of batteries like AA rechargeables for your kids toys and you can mix the types.I don't want to seem like a Nitecore salesman, I write what I know, I have one, I am sure there are others that work as well. That said, stick to an intelligent charger LiPo & Li-ion batteries can be dangerous if charged / discharged improperly

Answer:	The charger will charge the total Vt of the li-ion battery or batteries. Heres a example, if the battery is a 3.7v to 4.2v li-ion then use a charger rated only for 3.7v to 4.2v. However if your using two in series, then use a 8.4v li-ion charger, & i hope that answers your question.

5-cell, 6.0 Volt, 2.6Ahr Ni-MH sub-C battery, rechargeable up to 1000 times. Optimized electronics provide regulated intensity throughout battery charge.

CHARGING:

Fits existing charger-holders and fully recharges within 9 hours. Illuminated switch housing indicates charge status; steady for charging and blinking for charging complete.
