Answer:	I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure it's because the "HL" doesn't have the "strobe" light option where as the "S" does.

Answer:	You are all incorrect unfortunately. The difference between red and green lasers is quite significant. Green lasers can only operate from 40ﾟF to 100ﾟF. While red lasers cannot break between 20ﾟF and 120ﾟF. So green lasers are not so good for Winter applications. The upside to green lasers is that they're much more visible during day time than red lasers.

The 1913 key is wider than the standard key. Slots are 0.206-inch wide. Some guns with a Picatinny rail still need a standard key depending on the construction of the rail.

Smith & Wesson 99/TSW:

This key has the bar extended farther back than the other keys. They are for rails having a non-standard (too short) distance between the slot and the trigger guard.

Beretta 90two:

This key looks like it has a Picatinny rail but dimensions are different.

M-Lights should not be used on the 90two and will fall off under recoil.

Any aluminum frame SIG with a round bottom rail, including the P220R, P229R, etc.: The Sig round bottom rail departs from the true shape of both the 1913 and Universal standards and may cause an improper fit. The TLR will work with the 1913 key but there will be damage to the finish of both the gun and the light. The retaining screw must be tight.

Newer Sig P series guns are supposed to have a true Picatinny rail. This has not been verified by Streamlight.

SP2022 (Polymer frame): Same comments as for aluminum frames, except that the polymer frame is a little thicker and does not show marks from a clamp. Per SIG, use the 1913 key.

Smith & Wesson:

TSW and 99: the slot is too far back for the standard key and requires the special S&W key. There are many different models of TSW, but if it's a TSW with a rail, it uses the S&W key.

M&P Autoloader - Picatinny key.

Sigma - Cannot fit.

Springfield Armory:

Operator (1911 with rail) - Picatinny key.

XD (4 & 5-inch barrels) - GL (Standard) key. Cannot fit 3inch barrel.

Walther:

99 (New 2004 models): full size ones are nearly the same as the S&W 99 and use the S&W key. Older ones (no slot across the rail and the side grooves closed in front) cannot be fitted with a TLR.

Question:	What is the difference between this light and the 14032 light that you sell that is basically the same
Answer:	do not see much of a difference between the 14032 and the 14088 Reading through the specifications, they appear to be have the same specs. There is a newer version for the 14032 which is 14006 which is not yet available. Also I do not see any difference between the two. There are other versions that do not have the IR Red, not really some a civilian would use. Military yes. I think they have one that has red, blue, white and green. If ordered again, I would purchase this one..... Hope this helps.

Answer:	It could probably be done, but it would be impractical to attempt it. If you have the knowledge and ability to attempt that, you would be better served by building your own custom system.

Answer:	The "civilian" model is built to mil-spec. The difference on the military model is the IR light. However the Red, Blue and IR light are standard LEDs. They are not nearly as bright as the main C4 LED. But they all have 4 levels of intensity be just holding the power button as it cycles through the intensity levels. Single push turns on the the lowest setting. A double tap from off turns it to the brightest setting with strobe.

This flashlight stands out in low light or total darkness conditions. 3,500 lumens of pure light, it’s amazing. Wish it had dual tail cap switch, and maybe adjustable beam (it’s more of a super bright flood light), but it works very well on my duty belt and is extremely bright. It’s well worth the purchase price in my opinion. Comparing my stinger and this one in same conditions, this one is the ultimate flashlight.

Answer:	I note this question is from 2015, but it deserves a clear answer: It is way too bright to do an eye exam with. As someone pointed out, look for something around 20 lumens. I take it you are a cop doing sobriety tests or something? Hope you are not a medical professional: You should know more about the tools you use.

Answer:	Yes, a USB outlet in a vehicle will charge the flashlight . Charging time depends on two factors. First, how depleted is the battery. Second, how fast you can fill it up. An amp hour is a unit of electric charge. Just like your gas tank, it has a defined capacity. The more empty it is the longer it will take to fill it up. If you squeeze the nozzle lightly it will slowly fill your gas tank up and take more time. Instead of gallons, with batteries, we use the unit of amp hours. 1 amp hour equals 1000 milliamp hours or mAh. USB ports vary in their ability to supply power. I have seen some that will only Supply 500 mAh of power and others that will supply 2000 mAh of power. If you have a high power USB outlet in your vehicle it will charge it quickly however most that I have seen are slow charging in the 500 to 1000 mAh range. It's almost like asking how long would it take to fill up your own vehicle with gas through a straw. You would answer it depends and how empty the tank is and how thick the straw is. The higher mAh your USB supplies = the thicker straw.

Question:	A friend of mine purchased on of these and his says 740 lumens and your's says 340 lumens both have the same number 75782. So, why the difference
Answer:	Mine is definitely 740 lumens and is the LED 75761 "HPL" model not the "HP" model. It makes a difference. When I left the review, my history showed it as the HP model and the review tied to that one. I definitely have the HPL model which I researched on the Streamlight website. Also, it says the lens is scratch resistant... not entirely true since I did scratch mine fairly easily. But is still works perfectly and I think it's the best and brightest flashlight I ever had, and I have had quite a lot of different types.

Answer:	As time goes on, Amazon becomes a bigger and hotter hot mess. They really need to build a knowledgeable and conscientious staff to curate the listings - not a bunch of poorly paid offshore folks who don't have the specialized product knowledge or much needed language skills for the task. I have spent an entire day going back and forth between the Streamlight site and Amazon, searching on model descriptions, model numbers, features. The bottom line is that the information is chaotic and unreliable here. When I search for a particular model which Streamlight specs at 800 lumen, Amazon listings show it (by model #) as being anything from 200 to 350 lumen. It makes it really hard to buy anything. I remember when I shopped with Amazon because they were a wonderful place to shop, now I shop here because they have become the only place to shop. How sad.

Answer:	According to Streamlight Customer Service, they manufacture these on four different lines so there will be four different starting serial numbers to indicate the 800 lumens.
