Answer:	No, but it's exactly 1 inch diameter and perfectly fits any 1 inch scope ring. I mounted mine to a 9mm carbine with a scope ring and it's perfect for it. No modes to fiddle with, just on and off. It would be rather oversized for a pistol but could be done.

Answer:	I’m not sure what you mean by "activate this", are you asking how many milliamps it takes to turn on the LED? I’m not sure of the ramp current, but we’re logarithmically distant from an amp. The over current protection is for the charger. While it’s a 3.7 volt battery, it charges at 4.5 volts and it is a very, very small charger, so they have a built-in thyristor that overheats and opens like a circuit breaker if a dead battery tries to pull too high a current draw. The batteries are great. The flashlight is smallish, but fairly bright and the battery lasts quite a while. I stick the charger in the back of the drawer for emergencies and I own several lithium ion chargers that charge 18650 and 14500 at the same time and are much quicker and cooler and have AI thermal protection that is much more reliable.
