Question:	How many amps does the 1/2 HP pump draw
Answer:	The label says 11 amps starts, 5.5 amps running. So I thought I could run it with a Honda EU 2000 generator. It wouldn't handle the start-up load. Switched to a EU 3000. That works, but it's still a big pull on startup. The overload light will blink momentarily, the runs fine. Well depth around 20'.

Answer:	You well depth doesn't determine anything. Your depth to the the water table determines how fast you can pump the water (gallons per min). You can have 100' deep well and a 10' deep well side my side and they will perform roughly the same if the water table is 8' It's the distance from the water table to the pump that matters. You can only suck water up about 25'. After 25' the weight of the water starts to exceed the vacuum of the pump and it's ability to "suck" water up. Once you get the water in the pump you can push it honorarily as far as you want. This pump an create 50-60PSI of pressure. You could push water vertically maybe 100' or so with that 50PSI. The pressure will drop fast as you push water vertically. In short moving water up hill is the hard problem. Moving downhill or sideways is easy. As for the pressure tank buy a small 1 gall tank and install it next to the pump. The $40 more will make you and your pump a lot happier. If you don't your pump will cycle on/off.
Question:	Can you hook a regular gardan hose to it
Answer:	Yes. You need an adapter with a Male hose thread (MHT) on one end and a Male 3/4" standard pipe thread (NPT) on the other end. You could also buy an outdoor water spigot and a 1/2" female NTP to 3/4 male NTP adapter and screw the spigot directly into one of the 3/4" ports on the pump. Note: You need at a minimum a (1 gal or larger) pressure tank to make the pump/pressure switch turn on/off correctly/reliably. The pump will cycle on/off/on/off... without the pressure tank.

Answer:	This style of pump normally comes with an injector that when used as shallow well gets bolted on the end of the pump and for deep the injector goes down in the well. There are some additional fittings included for each with instructions on the needed changes.

Answer:	Hold up there, previous answer, not so fast. It is true that you should not have both the hot water heater and furnace venting directly into the flue, combining the exhaust. However, some people see their vent pipes entering the flue (or chimney wall) and assume they are both releasing the fumes inside the chimney. In some cases, the venting pipes continue separately up the flue. Joseph, if you have two vent pipes entering your flue, there is a chance that both pipes continue separately up the flue and out the top. If that is the case, you may be able to use the existing hot water vent system. When you look at the top of your chimney, do you see two terminations coming out?

Answer:	Hi S. French. I live in New England which is mixed climates: Hot/Humid summers and in winter dry/colder climates. It's an indoor unit, which is in my basement, so I'm not sure how sensitive the climate is related to operation of the unit. If it were outside I would think it would be of more concern.

Answer:	From fabric the standar setting is 115 V. But you can change the setting to 230 V. In115 V run 8.4 A and in 230 V run 4.2 A.

Answer:	I believe this one can run on 120 or 240. I think there's a switch on it. Either way mine is hooked up to a normal electrical panel.

Answer:	It most certainly does not...based on experience unfortunately.
Question:	Is the 30/50 pressure switch adjustable
Answer:	I just re installed mine after winter. I just primed it. When I got it I put a valve on the top with a shut off. Or maybe check the bladder preasure.
Question:	Will this pump self priming after the pumps volute has been filled and run
