Answer:	I draw water from about 5-feet below the surface. The discharge is about 6-feet above surface. It pushes water up about 2-feet and out about 8 to 10 feet. The discharge end is just the 2-nich opening. Hope this helps.

Question:	I have a 12 Ft. Deep pond I want to pump out. How far down can I pump it with this. How well will this pump suction when pulling water up hill. Thanks
Answer:	the intake will hang about 11 ft down into your pond...but depending on how high up the hill is...that is where you might find problems..the grade of the hill is important as well as who long the hose going up the hill is..if your hill is 25 long and it is 10 feet higher then where your pump is..that is about the limit..what you will find is you will lose "prime"..this is the suction of the pump..and the pump may overheat causing it to shut down.
Question:	will this water pump work for me to pump water out of the lake on to my grass
Answer:	I use one of these regularly and the answer to your question as asked is yes, it will move 158 gallons of water a minute from the lake onto your grass. The pump will have to be close enough to the lake for the end of the pickup tube to be submerged in the water and there are some vertical limitations as to how high the pump can be above the lake - check the specs. Once the water gets to the pump, you've got to figure out how to handle it. It's quite a stream if the motor on the pump is cranked up. We use a 50' flexible extension in addition to the included output hose and just hold the end in our hands like a fire hose - it's hard, wet work. But it does move a lot of water and fills our need perfectly.

Answer:	No, you have to prime it. The priming process is very easy though. I just dip a bucket into the ditch where I'm pumping from and fill up the chamber. I've thought of having another funnel to use when I pour the water in, but it really isn't necessary.

Question:	I am looking for pump to transfer pond water 500 feet to garden with elevation of 20 feet. will this pump do the job
Answer:	It will. Appr 15-20 gpm is what I get. I doubt it would run a sprinkler at this distance but it might if u use at least 1” pipe all the way. 1.5” would b better cause u have less friction.

Answer:	It is a two cycle engine which come with one small bottle of oil mix. It run good and is easy to start, If I good change anything it would be the drain plug and the top bleeder plug which are plastic and will not tighten enough.

Answer:	Havent used it yet but from experience maybe 30-40 lbs. That would greatly reduce the flow though. It would probably run one small rotary sprinkler but no more. This type of pump is best used for water transfer at low pressure. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Thank you for your question. The S series Pacer pumps are self priming. You still need to put water in for the initial start or after draining the pump completely.
Question:	what about intake and discharge hoses
Answer:	We offer a kit P-58-0206 hose kit that will provide both 2" hoses, fittings, and strainer for starting up!
Question:	Will this pump work to pump diesel fuel from fuel tank
Answer:	This pump does not have the right Plastic or Elastomers to move diesel fuel. It will wear out and cause premature failure. You would need to see one of our distributors to get the right pump. We recommend Buna Elastomers and Polypropylene Plastic. You could also use Polyester for plastic. Model SPP2PB E550 or SE2PB E550 would be models that work.

Question:	I need it to empty a pond that is 100 feet from where I can locate the pump. Can i use water hose or do i have to use pvc pipe? Does the pump draw wat
Answer:	It depends more on how far you have to lift the water in that 100 ft, you will need to put a foot valve on it where it goes into the pond, fill the pipe with water from the pump primer port befor you start the pump as it can’t suck the water up that far to prime the pump
