Answer:	Any unit that takes the small throw away cylinders can be connected to a larger cylinder with an adapter hose. Bayou Classic cookers makes one that’s 4’ long and connects to a QCC cylinder valve. Part# MCR1. They’re many other lengths and manufactures that do the same.

Answer:	I sent mine back. Coleman, flow rate was sufficient, and is largely dependent on the input pressure. YOU are the igniter for the Coleman. I chose instead to return my Coleman, and purchased a Triton on-demand. The Triton is self igniting (D cell batts) and has an internal flow sensor. So, add batteries, hook it up to a water and propane source, and you have instant hot water when you turn the valve.
Question:	How easy would it be to extend the shower-head hose? Is it a standard-size that I could find an extension for easily
Answer:	I bought 3/8th by 1/2 in diameter tubing from Menards. Swapped the hardware. And now I have a 15ft hose for my shower head. Was not difficult to swap.

Answer:	I set it on top of my electric range and use it for cooking with a wok. I like gas better for the wok. Works fine, although my house is pretty drafty so I don't have to worry much about ventilation. Downside? Don't leave it setting on the electric stove and turn the electric burner on. Might do a little damage when the gas explodes!

Answer:	I cook oatmeal on this burner every morning with no additional hardware. turn it very low- as low as possible. if your pot is small, do not cover. if the pot is deep, use a cover. you can pretty much tell if it boils over that the heat is too hi and or the pot is too shallow.

Answer:	Yes! Very stable that's why I got mine, and is great for larger pans/pots. I'm not sure about hot enough for wok but it should as I have cooked large pots of stew. For me it's a great one burner stove.

Answer:	The heating element will work for most units. The control box also has to be replaced and that is much more specific. Open your thermostat and look for the serial number. Then call Coleman service at 3168324357 Coleman Press 1 then 1 again Make sure to have your serial number for the thermostat available and tell them you need the codes for the heater and the controller. Then it’s plug and play. I think the heating elements are all pretty much the same , it’s the controller that changes. Good luck. I have two units in my camper, and I’m super happy with the results.

Question:	We have a 500sq' apt. 1 kitchen sink, 1 lav sink and tub/shower. This tankless heats water to both sinks but nothing to the tub/sh. Help
Answer:	Sinks have aerators to slow down the water where a tub doesn't. It sounds like one possibility is that your exceeding the GPM for this heater. Next possibility, double check an measure your actually getting at least 240v at the heater, I had an issue where my unit was only getting 235v an it was causing a similar issue where only one of the two heating elements was activating. I had it set to 125F but it was coming out 100F. It was warm and without a meter I would of thought it was working correctly until I tried filling a tub. It couldn't even get the water warm. I pulled my wires out an restripped an cut an screwed them in an it fixed my problem, now its measuring around 245v. Make sure there is no copper showing after screwing down your input wires. Now filling the tub I noticed after about 10-15 seconds the water gets too hot to touch. I set it to 135F.

Answer:	I would use a 20 amp circuit with 12 ga wire but there are no inrush concerns with a resistive load. A heating element does not have a higher initial current draw like a motor. It draws 1440 watts or 12 amps at 120v. Since 14 ga wire must be fused for 15 amps, this device by itself is already at 80% of the circuit’s capacity.

We decided to ride out pandemic at our lake house and hubby refused to move a tub here so he bought me this inflatable to put up. If Coleman had of had this 15 years ago I would have never bought $12,000 worth of hot tubs. Our tubs are our private time. But we do invite people over. Best $500 I’ve ever spent. 73 years old and both on no meds. Bottom a little slippery but not any worse than our big tubs.

Answer:	Depends on how cold. Butane doesn't work well below 35-40F. If you need a stove for consistent temps around freezing or below, go with a propane model.

Answer:	Absolutely. Any pot or pan works fine. Actually, a cast iron skillet would work great. The stove can put out quite a bit of heat, I've used these for a stock pot.

Answer:	The butane fuel can only be loaded in its can. Open the fuel canister compartment cover. Remove the cap on the fuel canister. Insert the canister with the collar notch facing upward. The valve on the canister goes into a small funnel shaped fitting. There is a spring loaded latch that fits into the collar notch. Close the compartment and activate the fuel canister lock lever on the front of the stove. The stove is now ready to use.

Answer:	Usually a tank will last 8 hrs if you leave it at medium heat to low. Depending in the space required to heat. So if you the calculations. 20 min X 3 = 60 min 3X8=24. So about 24 times give or take a few.
Question:	Is it sturdy enough to set a cast iron skillet ontop of and cook food without worrying about damaging the burner setup
Answer:	Hello. I take this stove camping and canoeing all the time. I use a large, heavy, cast iron skillet with a 11" base, 12" top, 2.25" sides to do my cooking. However, to maintain a hotter oil temperature for frying fish you must cover the cast iron skillet with a lid otherwise the oil will not get hot enough to boil. I purchased a commercial aluminum lid for a stock pot to use. NOW, LISTEN CAREFULLY, the factory propane cylinder PLASTIC BASE WILL NOT WORK and IS DANGEROUS TO USE with this setup. The cast iron skillet I use is much to heavy for safe use and with boiling oil you are heading for disaster. Here is the SOLUTION for a larger, very sturdy base. Get a new or used 12" non-stick fry pan. Take the handle off (grind, bend, or unscrew). File any sharp edges. Drill a 3/8" hole in the center of the pan. Get (1) 3/8" x 1 1/2" or 2" long bolt (depending how deep the non-stick fry pan is), lock nut, 2 washers. Get about 6" of 4" diameter PVC plastic pipe. Get a 4" PVC plastic pipe end cap with a flat bottom. Press, or glue, the PVC end cap onto the 6" long PVC pipe. Drill a 3/8" hole through center. Now assemble stand: non-stick fry pan cooking side faces away or to ground. PVC pipe is now all 1 piece and rests on top of flat surface of fry pan. 3/8" bolt with washer goes inside pipe, through fry pan and is bolted with washer and lock nut making the entire unit 1 piece. DO NOT tighten the 3/8" bolt so tight that it splits the plastic PVC, just snug. The 3/8" bolt should not extend past the lip of the fry pan or it will not sit level. The 1 pound cylinder will fit inside with single burner stove attached. You have just made a much safer base for your Coleman single burner stove. "WARNING" You must still exercise EXTREME CAUTION and CAREFULNESS when cooking with this setup and especially when using HOT OIL (wear oven mitts when removing HOT skillet). You can vary the diameter of the base fry pan for sturdiness, or the PVC pipe height. The cooking surface has now been raised but as long as the ground is solid and flat, or the table sturdy enough, I have not had an issue with tipping. There is a small space between the PVC pipe and the 1 pound cylinder. You can wedge a small twigs in, or plastic, whatever works to tighten the cylinder so it does not shift around or turn while cooking. Answer:	I bought model V65EN. It came with a wired digital controller. The installer did not run the wire into the house and mount the controller indoors. He simply set the controller at 120 degrees and left the controller inside the unit. If I want to change the temp, I have to take the cover of the unit.

Answer:	I'm not 100% sure but I think it should, provided the adapter is for this kind of Coleman propane stove. Personally, I use a refill adapter to refill my One-LB propane bottles from the 20-LB BBQ propane tank. I like the ease of the 1-LB bottles. The 20-LB tanks are too bulky for camping trips. Answer:	Yes, you are correct, one of the units I installed had the same issue with the red plastic fitting liner protruding, and it cannot be pushed in or removed. I solved the problem by filing the plastic down to just above the metal pipe. Make sure to keep it level and remove burrs. Another fix would be to use standard pipe fittings such as putting a street ell on the tank nipple then connecting your flex hose to that - use brass or stainless fittings and pipe dope.
Question:	Has anyone used a t-valve to hook this to their toilet inlet line? I'd like to split the toilet line, install this, then attach my sprayer bidet
Answer:	Yes you can, but you know, you can buy a bidet with a water on demand heater built in it ! much better and you are not reheating 2.5 gals of water after each use. Check on Amazon or Wish for a bidet, it is not expensive .

Answer:	Yes and no, it depends on where you are robbing the power from ,if it is from a circuit with very little use like bath wall outlets only ( like I did ) I would say no ,but if its from a circuit with heavy use, I would say yes, also what are you going to use the hot water for ? in my case, I use mine at the wash basin only so it is not heating continuously. .
