Answer:	I’m not sure if this will be helpful to you, however, it has not chaffed my dog, but I only put it on him when we go for walks or car rides. And even then it depends on where we’re walking. I can tell you the straps have kind of a padded felt on the skin side, it’s not really thick, but it seems that would at least partially triage that issue. Not that you asked this, but, be sure to actually measure your dog to get the right size. I have a very lean, healthy 80lbs bloodhound Mix, and neither the large nor the medium fit him correctly. I bought both sizes considering his neck measurement called for medium and torso measurement called for large. That is very likely due to his odd proportions and not the harness itself, but the large does seem very large.

Answer:	Depends on weight of cat. My cat is about 13-14lbs and has pretty much room to move around and a 8 week old isn’t that big I think it would work. I’ve taken mine on an 8 hr trip and worked fine.

Answer:	Yes, the bottom is stiff, plus there is a pretty stiff, removeable, carpet-like pad that fits into the bottom. One of my cats likes it so much he sleeps in it all the time. Even my vet asked where I got it! I highly recommend this carrier.

Answer:	Each airline has SPECIFIC regulations for carrier sizes. Most labeled airline approved are not in cabin approved. The height for more airlines is 8.5 inches tall. This is 11inches tall. It would be rejected at the counter typically when measured.
Question:	Weight of large carrier? Weight of medium carrier
Answer:	I do not know the actual weight but I have the large and without a cat in the carrier it doesn't hardly weigh anything. It would be like carrying an empty overnight bag/or backpack if it is even that heavy. It is very light weight. My cat is a year old now and still fits in the large carrier but he does not have as much room. I am not sure what your wanting to put in the carrier but I would recommend going with the large size.

Question:	Can you bring it to the plane? Can this be pushed down to fit under airline seat
Answer:	I use it to carry my house key or some $$ depending on where we're going. Mine actually has a zippered compartment w/in the zippered area. This inner compartment isn't very deep and will hold a credit card or some cash. I normally put my key in the outter zippered compartment. If you wanted to carry a fairly small amount of treats, they would also fit there.
Question:	Will large fit 2 8lb poodle puppies
Answer:	Height 12-13", width 10" and depth 9". I carry 2 x 2lb chihuahuas who curl up comfortably although if husband and I are tramping and the tinies have walked enough we have a pack each so we "share the load". Hope this helps.
Question:	Does this carrier collapse down when not in use
Answer:	I suppose it could, but I use it as a front carrier. My dog, Angel, loves it. She knows that when I get it out that it is time for her to go to work. (She is my service dog.)
Question:	What are the dimensions
Answer:	I have the medium, I'm ball-parking here because I'm at the office and the bag is stuffed away in my closet never to be used again, but it appears to be about 8-9" deep, 12" wide, and 10" tall. And that's the Medium! It creates an unsafe toppling effect and it's totally useless for what I needed it for since it's not hands-free: I have to constantly hold him since the slightest movement on his part makes him fall out of it.
