Answer:	I found a website that says the main ingredient is Sodium Bisulfate, Anhydrous Globular (NaH8O4) . I was hoping for scum-eating bacteria. Anyway, all biodegradable. I'm a little skeptical about a reviewer's understanding when they parrotted the company line "Green Gobbler's active ingredient acts as an emulsifier to liquefy solids" which sounds like gobbledygook to me, the daughter of a chemist. Sodium Bisulfate is acidic, so that's why instructions are to keep it off metal surfaces and why it apparently also etches into porcelain products. I would wear rubber gloves when working with it.

Answer:	I think it depends on how long a pipe you have and the pitch of the pipe. I have a 30 ft almost level drain from my kitchen sink. I had a very slow drain but it was many feet past the trap so the blockage did not backup the water quickly. I tried 4 applications of Green Gobbler over 2 days (yes I used hot water, 30 minute soak, overnight soak, boiling water, etc) and it did not work. Answer:	My disposal was clogged up when it quit working and the water was also backed up in my dishwasher. I ordered some more Green Gobbler with the 2 spouts and used one in my disposal, waited 15 minutes +, then poured a pan of hot water in it again about 15 or so minutes. It just sat there and didn't go down, but the next morning it was down. I poured another pan of hot water in and the clog was gone. Had to dip out my dishwasher, but then everything worked well. BTW, I wouldn't recommend standing over the sink after pouring in the hot water, because it does fume some.

Question:	Will this work on a shower drain on a second floor
Answer:	Yup, just used it to pull a 1.5" diameter wad of hair out of our second-floor shower. The wand is just the right stiffness--flexy enough to bend through a trap, but not so floppy that you can't push it through. I thought the crank looked kinda gimmicky but I tried it once just pushing it down the drain and cranking a little bit, and then a second time whaling away on the crank, and trust me... CRANK IT. No longer showering in a inch of standing water--yay!
