You could put a 1,000,000 amp hour battery on it if you're only drawing 18 volts. The 12 ah is a hefty battery though and would be complete overkill. |

I have to admit that sometimes I don't twist the rotating mechanism that holds the blade around far enough for the blade to fall in and fasten securely but other than that I have had no difficulties. I have used blades from Milwaukee as well as generic blades. |
