Answer:	I turned mine own to see. It heated up, and the light turned green. Mine works fine with steam coming out after I press the steam button. Maybe you could try holding down the steam button for a few seconds. Assuming you have enough water in the water well, the steam should be coming out. It might be defective. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

Answer:	Yup you just tighten the drill down on whatever bit you are using. If anything the only thing it might have an issue with is very large bits, but even that shouldn't be an issue.

Answer:	Any of the 20 volt batteries will work. I bought 2 5 amp batteries for it. But it will work with the 1.5 ones as well. Great sawzall. Any of the dewalt 20v chargers will work.

Answer:	I get this saw onto places that I never thought I would ever get a recip saw. The places this saw goes and works I don't even notice any difference. I would trade off even more spm's if needed to get a saw like this. I've used others like this and they all have jammed up on me. I do work my tools extremely and I mean extremely hard and will probably burn this one out eventually but anything that can stay together under my use is a worthy tool.

Answer:	It has to be used with the Porter Cable 20v MAX battery, any of them will work either the 1.3 amph (black ones), the 1.5 amph (most common), the 2.0 (only with hammer drill), or the 4.0 amph.

Answer:	I don't think so. If you can afford it though, upgrade to the 20 volt lithium. Lowes has the drill, impact driver, 2 batteries and charger and a bag to carry it all in. $189 That's what I bought after my son the Contractor told me to get. I then added this saw and I can tell you, it is bad to the bone.

Question:	Why is an oiler not required
Answer:	We ordered two from diff places and never received them. First they sent us a chainsaw chain with grips on the end to hand saw limbs. The second time they send us a flip up knife looking blade for handsawing. These are fake saws. Don’t buy them anywhere if it says from China. Can’t believe Amazon hasn’t cracked down in this.
Question:	So is this a 36 volt or 26 volt? The advertisement is confusingly misleading
Answer:	Yes this is strange, so I checked the battery with a meter. + terminal to - read 20 volts. + terminal to center read 6 volts, so 26 volts available. Apparently 36V is a model number, not a voltage rating. Misleading, but the saw seems to have adequate torque for cutting.
