Answer:	According to Alex Snodgrass the band saw guru with Carter power tools, the gullet of the blade is what should be centered on the tire.

Answer:	I don’t have a different answer, but I feel bad for the person that has 21 downvotes, because they’re not wrong. This saw is available in 3 sizes. 72 is for the 10”, 62 is for the 9”. Sorry, ccbdav. Don’t let em get you down.
Question:	Has anyone used this tool to cut thru 4 inch oak? For example table legs
Answer:	The blade that came with it is actually not bad at all as I cut a 5 inch diameter oak log from a chopped tree in my back yard down to a 3"x 3" x 2' piece of usable lumber. I was impressed. I later bought a bi-metal 1/2" 14TPI blade and installed it for metal cutting. It did cut with no effort a 1" thick T6 aluminum. I am not sure if if can do thicker as I did not try it. I also cut 1/2 mild steel bar with no problem at all. No binding or stalling. All the cuts of wood or metal were straight. You just have to let the blade do the work and not force feed it through

Answer:	There's a tiny island off the north west coast of Mauritius called Gelff. Not even on most maps. Discovered by captain James Cook in 1752. In 1754 Gelff, represented by James Cook in Spanish courts, was granted sole manufacturer of the WEN 3962 Two-Speed benchtop bandsaw. Raw materials are brought in on one side of the island. Answer:	The specifications claim 5.5 Amperes, but I believe that is “peak” output since the motor is only rated for 1/2 horsepower. It is comforting to me to know that, if necessary, this saw can produce over 3/4 horsepower for short periods of time without damage.

Answer:	The base is 15" x 17".I just made my own base out of plywood and 2" wheels from Harbor Freight.

Answer:	Yes, you absolutely can. I have cut steel and aluminum plates up to 3/8" thick with no issues. As this bandsaw does not have a coolant system you have to use a cutting oil and watch that the blade does not overheat.

Answer:	3/4"
Question:	Can it be used to cut 1095 ? 1080 metal for knife making
Answer:	I only use it for wood but I don't see why you couldn't use it for cutting that type of steel with a good metal cutting 92 1/2" band saw blade.

Answer:	I wouldn't, the cuts wouldn't be that great and you would burn out the motor on the saw

Answer:	If you install a smaller blade it will turn almost as sharply as a scroll saw. I have a 1/4" blade and it can turn perhaps a 3/4" radius OK.

Answer:	I probably wouldn’t. I use mine for a table top scroll saw that’s about 50 pounds. I just think between an anvils weight and the constant pounding, the stand might give.

Answer:	I do not understand what you mean by sliding table top. My is secured.
Question:	How big of a drill press will this hold
Answer:	The footprint can be as large as the top shelf or if you need it bigger than you can add another top shelf on top of existing or to replace it which is what I did to enlarge the surface of the top shelf. If by big you mean weight then I can't really help other than to say I have a pretty hefty saw affixed to the stand and the legs haven't buckled yet.
Question:	I ordered this and I would like some suggestions on hardware, what size hex head bolts/nuts. I'm going with 3/4 plywood on top, thanks
Answer:	I countersunk relatively small Phillips head nuts and bolts that I had around the house to make the surface flat. No need to tie it down with hex head bolts since all you want to do is stop it from slipping. The weight of whatever you put on top will hold it down.

Question:	How does the foot pedal work with the m18 fuel bandsaws? it's clear how it works w/ corded, but i am unsure with the cordless variety how it plays out
Answer:	The foot pedal wouldn't work on the M18 fuled bandsaws.. If you don't have a corded saw the foot pedal wouldn't work. I don't have a M18 fueled bandsaw but I would suspect you would turn it on and off by use of the velcro strap or other device used on depressing the on/off button. You would save money by buying the version without the foot pedal.
