Answer:	I wouldn't, the cuts wouldn't be that great and you would burn out the motor on the saw

Answer:	Not unless you can find a diamond/carbide blade - glass is usually cut by abrasion. That would be unlikely for a small saw of this type.

Answer:	Depends on why it wobbles. If it wobbles because it sets on an uneven surface, then yes bolting works. If wobble is from an oblong wheel, out of balance wheel, or something else along thode lines; then no, bolting it down won't help.

Answer:	According to Alex Snodgrass the band saw guru with Carter power tools, the gullet of the blade is what should be centered on the tire.

Question:	Has anyone used this tool to cut thru 4 inch oak? For example table legs
Answer:	The blade that came with it is actually not bad at all as I cut a 5 inch diameter oak log from a chopped tree in my back yard down to a 3"x 3" x 2' piece of usable lumber. I was impressed. I later bought a bi-metal 1/2" 14TPI blade and installed it for metal cutting. It did cut with no effort a 1" thick T6 aluminum. I am not sure if if can do thicker as I did not try it. I also cut 1/2 mild steel bar with no problem at all. No binding or stalling. All the cuts of wood or metal were straight. You just have to let the blade do the work and not force feed it through

Answer:	There's a tiny island off the north west coast of Mauritius called Gelff. Not even on most maps. Discovered by captain James Cook in 1752. Answer:	As far as I know there is no accessory that will allow you to use this like a chop saw. There is a table accesory that will hold the saw and allow you to use it like a stationary band saw. If that doesn't help. I can tell you from experience that I have cot stock by myself one handed. I say one handed because I held and used the saw with one hand, I used my other hand to hold the stock on my work cart. With a little practice it is pretty easy to do. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I just bought a Milwaukee put a Milwaukee blade in and cut through 2-7/8 pipe no problem have cut about 40 cuts so far and the blade is still good. This will cut your pipe easy.

Answer:	I would adjust the cutting speed and the blade tension. I have been using it heavily cutting 1-1/4" 4140 hot rolled material and have not broken a blade yet. I have worn several blades out but not broke them.

The brass gear would slip down through the mounting hole causing the gears to mesh too tight. My factory oil/grease could not have been brass colored. To check, simply remove drive belt and spin the drive whee pulley. (It should have very little resistance)

Three Cutting Speeds

The W1715 is capable of operating at 78, 108, or 180 FPM. The speed can easily be adjusted by changing the V-belt placement. The three cutting speeds allow this bandsaw to cut a variety of stock with varying hardness.

Built-In Mobile Base

The W1715 features a built-in mobile base to easily move the machine to its desired location. The compact design takes up very little space and is ideal for shop with limited floor space.

Vise Included for Horizontal Operation

This bandsaw includes a vise for holding workpieces during horizontal cutting operations. The vise is capable of holding stock for angle cuts ranging from 0 to 60-degrees.

Horizontal or Vertical Cutting

The Model W1715 can easily be set up for vertical cutting operations to make cuts that are not a straight cut through the entire workpiece, such as curves or pattern cuts.

Horizontal Cutting

The W1715 features a cast iron stop for use when making horizontal cuts. The stop allows you to get consistent results when performing repeat cuts at the same length for efficient production.

Feed Rate

The W1715 feed rate is controlled by a spring and handle. Slower Feed Rate is achieved by twisting the handle clockwise to add tension to the spring while the faster feed rate is achieved by twisting the handle counterclockwise to remove tension from the spring.

Answer:	The gauge on the side goes to 50 degrees. It looks like it should cut at 50 degrees as well. Without setting it and making a cut I can not tell you 100% that it can be done. But by laying a protractor done it looks like it.

Answer:	At 60 HZ they are 88,134,193, and 256. At 50 HZ they are 72, 111, 161, and 210. You can find this and other information on the KAKA site, however you have to convert the blade speeds from meters/minute to feet/minute. The ones I gave you are in feet/minute.
