We wear out at least two of these sanders a year in our shop and we use them to sand wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel daily, and sometimes other types of material as well. If you sand a car this sander would not be suitable for wet finish sanding as it is not sealed for that purpose.

Answer:	I can’t really answer that about the sander, but I have the drill kit with the same battery and it last’s quite awhile. I suspect the sander won’t last as long because it will be more continuous than the drill. But more than one battery should solve that situation.

Answer:	For the US Worx sander the charger is 110 only. The European charger is dual voltage, but the batteries are not interchangeable so if you buy an American Sander you have to use the American battery. Not fun.

Answer:	I am left handed and have had zero issues using these strippers. I have the 6-12 AWG ones but I assume the others work just fine as well.

Answer:	Yes, our 20V batteries and chargers are interchangeable within our 20V product line. We do not offer an exact run-time as this would depend on many different variables as well as other environmental factors.

Answer:	Lowes normally has a deal for 20V Max drill and impact driver with 2 batteries and charger for $100 good way to start a cordless PC set....
Question:	Which battery exactly do i purchase for this? i don't know anything about it
Answer:	While they are interchangeable, the "standard" 2Ah battery will only last 10-15 minutes of constant use (in my experience). I would recommend the 4,5, or off brand 6. Or corded for bigger jobs.

Answer:	sure, but it will take a while. its has a small head for fine detail ,I use it for really tight hard to reach areas when I carve wood, for larger areas I use different tools,
Question:	This is a pen sander for hobbies. Why do so many negative reviewers state they used it for putty, adhesives, etc., not lightly sanding just wood
Answer:	In my projects I'll fill with sparkle and plastic wood. I also use epoxy sculp to build on the material. The pen sander is for fine detail work not quick reduction. Why the negative reviews? There's a size gap between small power sanders and the Proxxon line. There were time I encountered details that were too small for a palm sander had to be laboriously sanded by hand. The Proxxon sander can sand most of this areas. However, the sanding pads aren't that aggressive. They also wear out with use. The ones I use are 180 grit compared to 100 on a palm sander. The area of the sanding pad isn't that large. Say the end of my little finger compared to a quarter sheet of sandpaper. I own to thinking I could sand the same way as I did with a palm sander. To speed things up I take standard press on sandpaper pads and cutout pieces to fit the small pads. That speeds things up. However, heat buildup cause the adhesive to weaken. In brief, you use the sander as it's designed. It won't reduce large areas quickly. It will get into detailed areas. It will give you clean edges and a very smooth surface.
Question:	Where is the transformer? Thought it was to be included but we did not receive it
Answer:	Proxxon makes several power tools that use the same transformer. I’m thankful that I only need one tranformer for my tools, saves me money.
