Answer:	I purchased this item with the intention of etching pcb boards. The documentation, what there was of it, list aluminum and copper as materials the cnc is able to cut. Brass, steel, stainless may be asking a little too much. It clams to be a true hobbyist kit for good reason. Since the Instructions are provided upon request from a Chinese file server in Chinese, it was somewhat difficult to assemble. Hope this helps.

Question:	What is the bit size
Answer:	I purchased this unit to etch the copper traces on PCB boards. If the feed rates are sets low enough I would imagine it could cut fiberglass very very slowly. I imagine carbon fiber is about the same consistency, however I only have experience etching wood, plastic, and the thin layer of copper on pcb boards. I can only relay my experiences honestly so I can not give you a yes or no answer.

Answer:	The instructions are online, and in a file folder that can then be read or printed out. As these are coming from China, they have done a good job of trying to describe in english the information needed to correctly build the 2417, but caution is a must, while making sure that all parts and instructions are followed. I have purchased a few of these over the last few months and have worked to take the best parts of some to cobble together a machine that will handle larger dimensions and exist as a dual-head laser and mill, when needed! In ALL cases it is STILL very DIY.. so perfection comes in time!

Answer:	I run Lightburn and LaserGRBL. Both apps work but you have to disconnect the LCD display when running directly over the USB serial connection. Make sure all the GRBL settings are currect for your machine. Both apps allow you to modify the EPROM settings, you can find definitions of the different settings online.

Answer:	Most blades like this come flat. If you have a grinder you can put a small angle on it. Are you putting a lot of pressure on it? It works better for me it seems if I don't put a lot of pressure and just let the hammer drill do it's own workouts going to skip on thinset regardless. Try a more straighter angle upright for thinset. And I wouldn't use this on tile. You should get an actual punch style blade.

Answer:	You can use a threadlocker compound to minimize the chance that the fasteners will come loose. Additionally you can use an impact tool to tighten the fasteners. But only if you know what you're doing.
