| Answer: | Yes, I have used 1" up to 2", as well as staples. I get some jams here and there, but for the most part this thing has been pretty good. |

| Answer: | The gun comes with 16ga, 2 inch brads. So I would say it will work with 16ga brads but it won't work with finishing nails of any size. |

This gun is designed to fasten trim to walls like baseboard, casing etc. A "framing gun" is designed for "framing"... Dewalt has battery framing guns, they're about $100 more. But don't buy one. Call a pro, have them build your garage. |
