Question:	can it drill 1/4 holes into plastic
Answer:	----Its not the drill, It's the BIT ----Hanson makes particular bits for drilling plastic, with any drill regardless of voltage, and theyre available most any good hardware store or Tap Plastics. They have a particularly pointed tip, so don't ever attempt to ever use them on wood or metal, as doing so would render it crapp for plastic use from then on. I have 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 in my arsenal, and they pretty much cover any plastic, ABS, PVC, and especially Plexi-Glas projects I encounter. Yeah, they're a buck or two higher than regular bits, but they also wont crack your pretty plexi-glas project all to hell like a standard twist drill bit will.

Answer:	Yes, it has a light. But it's worse than useless. It lights the area nearby, but casts a shadow on the spot you are drilling. The glare makes it actually harder to see what you're doing.

Answer:	I had an oportunity to use the 18V when I installed the railings on my father in laws staircase. I worked absolutely great but I had to keep switching batteries and kept one on the charger. He got it last Christmas. I told myself then the Dewalt was far superior to the two brands of portable drills I was using that I was going to get a Dewalt for myself. Honestly, when I ordered the 20V I assumed it was the same as my father in law had but his was the 18V. I would be happy with either but the 20V I have is smaller in size and lighter than the 18V that he has. Plus the 20V lithium batteries last a long long time before you have to recharge but then again replacement batteries are expensive. I just used the 20V to build my garage and so far I've only swithed batteries 5 times and that includes all the siding, drywall, wire routing. BTW I use the new star bit screws for everything they are far superior to phillips and I have given all my boxes of phillips screws away; along with my two "other brand" cordless drills.

Answer:	5500 is the prefix for a series of infinite switches made by Robertshaw. The 5500 series are all 240v 15A max, which is 3600W enough for the largest range elements. An infinite heat control copies the power cycling of an internal low power heater to the range element so the minimum element power is zero, it just switches the contacts for an on/off time percentage. The variations are for minimum power % at low position, rotation direction for low to high, push to turn or detents, shaft shape, shaft length, and terminal configuration. The only other parameter is cycle rate. In the past the controls made for the classic iron covered “calrod” elements had a relatively slow cycle rate because the thermal mass of the calrod the only thing a faster cycle did was wear out the switch sooner. Glass top style elements heat and cool quickly and a 2 or 3 cycle per minute control will be noticeably on too much and off too much. Only owners of ranges with changeable inserts, e.g. Jenn-Air, who update from calrod inserts to glass top inserts would encounter this. The current faster cycle time controls cycle 3 to 5 times as often and will operate correctly with calrod elements. The internal power switch design is refined to increase the cycles to wear-out somewhat, but the older type will last longer so ranges with calrod elements are more reliable with an older design slower power cycle control.

Answer:	It can be used for either 6 or 8 inch burner. It is a heavy duty switch to handle more amps. This replacement switch has been in operation on my electric stove for over a year on the 8 inch burner. Be sure to label all the wires to match the terminal inputs as the input terminals on this replacement switch may not have the same orientation as yours. Question:	What are the Dimensions
Answer:	It is about 6-1/2" from the tip where the it goes to the back of the handle. The handle part you grip is about 3-1/2" Side barrel is about 2" x 1-1/2". This is an awesome little screw driver for many home uses. Battery life is good for several small jobs of one bigger job. I would highly recommend for as a Home owner tool.

Question:	is it good for tighten or loosening terminal blocks
Answer:	What I found that sometimes when I barely turned the drill to start the drill was not enough and when I turned it a little further for more torque... The drill would some times spin out the screw head slot. This was more my fault because I should have looked at the choke setting on the chuck to adjust it to a lower setting. I found to loosen a screw was that first...make sure that the screw tip is the correct size for screw head slot. Next with the bit in the drill chuck, put the bit in the screw slot. Then WITHOUT turning on the drill, turn the screw manually to break the tightened connection. Then with the drill chuck choke adjustment mid way or low setting would easily loosen the screw slowly when I wanted to loosen slowly. Plus this saved some time and battery on multiple connections. To tighten I had to remember to set the choke setting low and it would tighten and then the choke action would (rattle). Then I could increase the choke setting 1-2 steps to ensure the screw terminal was tight. I hope I this helps.
Question:	Different reviews seem to like the driver, but I get the impression that power is not its strong suit. does it really have enough torque to drive screws for various home projects? Thanks
Answer:	Definitely does the job on softer woods (e.g., basic 2x4s). I have been using it on all my shelving projects - mostly using #9 2-1/2" desk screws . The ability to change directions (in/out) makes it great for pre-drilling with a quick release drill bit without having to touch anything but the trigger. I am also impressed by the amount of torque this can generate, and the amazing battery life - really a great tool.

I use these to support the bag closure spring clamps. Just clip them along the edge after you fold the flaps over to close the bag. I use 2 clamps. Answer:	If you have the bag opening past the lip where the snout bolts on the bag will not come off. I cut the rear snout off behind the flange and put my bag on past the flange and it doesn't loosen. The cinch strap just needs put through the catch properly, with the teeth against the inserted end, so it stays tight.

Answer:	I don't see why not. Unless you have 40 or 50 screws!
Question:	Can you use it in reverse to unscrew something
Answer:	1/4" hex will fit, but for drilling it's a very slow turn...low RPMs. This is better suited as a screw-driver, guitar peg turner and of course a very slow speed drill, if you're in no hurry. If drilling, I'd stick to small bits...maybe 1/8" or less. Not sure it'll torque a larger bit thru anything. Hope that helps.

Answer:	No, slightly less...by about 10 ft.lb. BUT- SnapOn uses NiCad 14.4v and total cost is 3x more. Dewalt uses a 20v Li-on battery and would last longer. I bought the bare tool & have 4 batts to interchange with my DW impact driver & DW hammer drill. The 3/8" is a good tool for bench work and some smaller auto tasks. Get a 1/2" for the big stuff. Can't go wrong with Dewalt. I'd never buy a NiCad or NiMh battery tool again, these batteries don't have a shelf life and have memory recharge issues.
