Answer:	Thats a good question..what I have found is I had this one model number and it works and last years, then I found if you buy what looks like the same one but different model number they die fast, many others would say it in their review so in looking into it different models are made in different places and different parts etc..so this one model is the one that works best and last years BC171NCSR....not others that look like it or say BC171NCS or any other combo...its the BC171NCSR and the color is Black with Blue. Dries your hair also gives it shine and no static and lots of body to the hair and I have never had the motor burn out on this model but I replace them because the teeth do break off after a few years..I think this model came out at least 10 years ago and anything since I have bought does not compare to this model or dryer, its so much easier too than using a heavy hair dyer and a brush this has the dryer and brush and takes less time to dry hair and not as heavy...price here on amazon is the best I found...only thing when I ordered two here they sent me one of the blue and my model and another model that was a different color so amazon took care of it right away they are great, the prices are best and the shipping if fantastic... :)

Answer:	Hi Larisa, Just like all styler dryers I've used it does get a bit hot to the touch. I've never found it to be a real problem as long as you're careful. I have very short hair so I have to be a bit more careful but as I said its not been too bad. For me it's still the best styler dryer I've ever found. Hope this helps you.
Question:	Does it have a quick release mechanism? In other words, releases the hair without having to back out the wand and/or pull on it
Answer:	You maybe thinking that the brush spins automatically. It does not. You use the brush just as you would were you using a blow dryer and a round brush. Except with this you only use one hand to curl/style hair. So quick release is not an option. It is all manual.

Question:	Will this dryer work on very short fine hair where all I want is smooth volume? Could kick myself for not paying better attention to what stylist did
Answer:	The one point to consider is that the brush is quite large. If your hair is very short I'm not sure how you would build volume if you are unable to wrap brush around hair. I love this dryer but you may be better off looking at dryer brushes (and there are plenty) that are similar in size to a curling iron. At least you would have a chance of building volume. Cheers

Answer:	I received, but 110 watts does not suit me, how can I change to 220 volts?

Answer:	This same thing happened to me. Had it for 8 months and had just used it, maybe 12 times. I called the manufacturer (Amazon provides that information), told them what happened and they sent me a new one. I called on monday and today (friday) it came in. It took only 4 days!! :D Just make sure to have your dryer at hand when you call.
Question:	What is the watts/wattage for this product
Answer:	I'm going to guess you might have wanted to know how much wattage this dryer has ie how much "blow power" it has. I looked high and low for this information because if this was going to be a styling tool with 4-500 watts of power it was going to take 5 days to dry my hair and I didn't want it. I finally found the information on a hardware store sight of all places and they listed the wattage as 1100 watts. That seems about right. It is quite powerful and dries my curly hair smooth and bouncy quite quickly as long as I do sections of hair at a time. I have no explanation why Revlon does not list the watts on the pamphlet or on the actual unit so no fault to Amazon. It might have been on the box but I've since thrown it away. Women need to know if there is a little stream of air blowing, a full force dryer or something in between. I'd say this is in between but blows really well. I love this and if you've been using other blow style round brushes this will be the best one you'll ever own. There is a great U tube video where a girl with a bob demonstrates how to use it and I found it very helpful, including how to hold the unit top and bottom and roll roll roll to get gorgeous results. Answer:	Mine is 300 watts and doesn't have nearly the drying/styling power that my old one did. That one was 1000 watts! It still worked, but the old one had plastic and boar bristles on the large brush and the boar ones were getting out of shape.

May work for others? 1-adjust to 2.0 setting 2-hold the unit in right or left hand as if using the device and push with both thumbs on the white and gold blades AWAY from the unit. 3-be careful that when the blade assembly suddenly pops off it doesn’t fall to the ground.

Question:	How loud is the WP-660? I own the WP-65W and it sounds like something you might hear at a construction site
Answer:	WP-100 is the one with a very strong motor, will last for years, unless you forget and leave it running on an empty tank as i did. So what if it is noisy; it works and will last. By the way, using it at more than 2-3 may cause damage to your gum line. Leaky tank valve, even the new WP-100s have a defective tank valve (it doesn't fall down when the tank is removed, therefore the tank dribbles when removed for refill. This problem remains even with new valve inserts (which i obtained from Waterpik's wonderful service). The fix, although slightly annoying, is to take the handle of your toothbrush and gently press down on the valve during the lift off process. You can then discontinue the toothbrush, and refill and reseat the tank, without dribbles occuring. Just grin and bear it. Also, you will need to purchase replacement angled wands because the tip will become junky and can't be cleaned.

Answer:	Well my British friend, unfortunately, this particular machine is not quite as versatile as your old British-made Trimmer. However, it does do a bang-up job when it comes to edging and trimming your good-old-fashioned American grass.
