Answer:	Almost. The shield has a protective film on both sides that should be removed first. This helps assure you get a scratch free shield. Then it is extremely simple to attach the shield. There is a row of small turnbuckles on the head band which you turn horizontally and then you match the holes in the shield and twist the turnbuckles back. No tools required. This takes less than 30 seconds. This was a very useful product especially for the price.

This tape is perfect for woodworking, metal working, composites, templates, plastics and a whole lot more! Use it around the house or in the shop. Either way it works beautifully when you need a temporary fix to hold something together. For instance, woodworkers or woodturners need to sometimes keep bowls on a face plate when turning and a different way to do this without having to drill holes in your wood is to use cloth backed double faced tape to adhere the bowl blank to the faceplate of your lathe. This works great if your bowl blank is balanced and true, the tape will hold during the turning and finishing process. You can turn bowls up to 10 inches in diameter and 2 inches thick. For best results, always make sure that your work surface areas are clean and free of dust and debris before placing tape on the bowl blank. After you attach the blank to the faceplate you may want to clamp it as well for an extra secure bond. Always remember to tug or push on the bowl blank once it is installed on to the lathe to make sure you have a secure bond before turning. Once completed with your turning project, use a wood chisel to remove the bowl from the faceplate. Caution: make sure the bowl blank is dry, do not use the tape on wet wood. Each tape dispenses 108 feet of double stick tape. Of course this is just one of the many different uses for this double stick tape. You can use almost anywhere in the home or work shop! Answer:	Our shoes are all sized in women's sizes, so an 8.5 women's would be a 10.5 men's. I would recommend the 10.5 or 11 depending on how tight he likes to wear his shoes!

Answer:	Size (big kid) youth 5 converts to a women's size 7. Per the Nfinity size chart if you needed a size 7 in women's, you would order a size 7.5 Evolution.

Answer:	I do not know anything about cm. However, my granddaughters shoes had to be at least 1 to 1.5 times larger then her regular shoe size. These shoes run very small.

Question:	is there an adapter for the face plate for mounting live center chucks? I bought one but won't line up with holes
Answer:	I'm not sure if they make the adapter to mount on the face plat. I have a 2" diameter three jaw,self centering scroll type chuck that i bought from Amazon that ihave used that works great,but i think that the holes in the face plate is for mounting a backing block to the piece of wood stock to turn a bowl. It says in the manual that you glue the block to the wood your turning and use the holes to screw the block on to face plate. Hope this helped.
Question:	What size wood stock can it hold? How about something like 12'' long by 8" wide piece of wood
Answer:	The length it will hold will be dependant upon what chucks you have in the head and tail stock. The bulkier the chucks, the shorter the length it will handle. I'd say it will hold 12" lengths unless your chucks are sizable. I wouldn't try more than 4" width stock unless it was short. Although the lathe may hold the stock, it would be too much for the motor. The intended purpose of this lathe is to make small things like ink pens, Christmas ornaments, small toys like tops or yo-yo's and tool handles etc. If you want to mount 12" X 8" stock you should be looking at full sized lathes.
Question:	is there anyway to secure to a bench
Answer:	Yes. It has has three holes in the base that you can bolt it down with. I bolted mine down on a metal stand. It holds it down real solid. Mine is the Shop Fox W1704 also. It is well built. I really like mine. Hope this helps!

Answer:	i think the varied answers come from questions getting sent to people who have purchased different sizes. I noticed some of the reviews are also for other models. This item, the WEN 4208 has an 8-inch swing. So, you can drill the center of an 8- inch diameter object, or about 4- inches from drill center to body. The WEN 4210 & the WEN 4212 have 10- inch swings. Anyone trying to drill the center of a 9- inch wheel would need one of these models. This 4208 is a Great drill for the money. i like that the head can be swung over the edge of a work bench, which allows for drilling into long stock. Like into the bottom center of a 36" post. The beveling work table is another great feature & one i did not have on the press this will replace. If you have the space, consider the WEN 4214 with 12-Inch swing. it is still small enough to be bench top, but you can drill the center of 12- inch/ bowls & table tops.
