Question:	Would this compressor work for blowing out PLASTIC water lines in winterizing a home? What size are the connecting air fittings
Answer:	If you're talking about your sprinkler lines then yes (assuming 3/4" lines). I tested mine when we laid our new sprinkler system and the pressure drop is very rapid (5 seconds before you have to shut off and rebuild pressure). My lines are approximately 500 feet each station. Had to re-pressurize twice and any residual water after that is fine. As to the connector, it depends on your back-flow device. Mine is a Watts 009 series with 1/4" fittings. I used a quick change connector, 1/4" ball valve and a 1/4" hex connector. For the Watts, its check valve #4. I wouldn't exceed 80 psi
Question:	Can the output be controlled? ie., set to 30 psi or to 40 psi? To blow out water lines in my camper, the max psi allowed is 30 psi
Answer:	I use it to blow out my water lines in my camper. You’ll need a fitting to attach the compressor to your water intake. I Keep the regulator on the compressor at 30 psi or below and all the spigots closed. Then open each one at a time until no water or vapor comes out.

Answer:	Yes, it is "loud" if you're standing right next to it (db ratings are available), but remember it comes with a 25-foot air hose so, it doesn't have to be in your face. For most occasional shop/hobby applications this should not be an issue.

Answer:	hi malcolm,to replenish the air after it runs out, simply make sure the unit is plugged into any AC power outlet and flip the red on switch to start the motor. once it reaches "full" 150PSI, it will shut off by itself automatically. very cool. just got mine the other day and love this thing. -mike

Answer:	Tools are what the other guy said. You really need to purchase a quick disconnect and couplings kit. I ordered the "Primefit IK1015S-5 1/4-Inch Steel Quick Coupler Set, 5-Pieces" for $5.95 at the same time along with an inexpensive blower and a better gauge-enabled tire fill. It does come with a very basic tire fill.

Answer:	Yes, but only for short duty cycles. The tank is small and blowing air uses a lot of air. So don't expect to be able to continuously blow for more than 30 seconds or so before the compressor needing to recycle.

My 20 gauge nail gun is not porter cable one but the compressor works just fine with it. Actually, brand of the nail gun & compressor doesn't matter at all. All you need to concern is a required air pressure.

Answer:	tank cut off pressure is 200 psi.It comes back on when tank drops to 150 psi...so yes-it will fill the 20 incher.I would get a clip on chuck because it would take a few minutes.you can set the regulator to deliver 110 psi-so no worries of overinflation.

Answer:	Your guess is good as mine. I purchased this compressor in 2015. Called George in customer service. I was told to take the heads off and, I explained to George, there was so many foreign bodies of metal and crap. I have used the compressor to air tires and clean chain on bicycles. The tank would not hold air, motor never shut off. For the next 2 years, I provided hospice care to my mother and father in law plus I broke my back. My complaint about the possibility of working with George on getting it replaced fell on deaf ears because now the defective compressor is out of warranty. I'm going to be a reasonable person here, you know George, sometimes life is a priority over a defective product and worthless warranty. I now have a 120# paper weight.

Answer:	This model delivers 2.6 SCFM @ 90PSI with a maximum tank pressure of 150 PSI. Please compare the tools CFM requirements to confirm if this will work.

Answer:	All air compressors create heat. The greater the compressor the more heat. It's physical law, squeeze air and it gets hot. The connections, hoses and even the tank will feel somewhere between hot and warm because of this. Rule one: Don't touch the hot parts. Your situation as described may or may not be normal. I don't know. If you noticed the pressure and it was within limits, it may be normal.
Question:	Is this compressor work well with pneumatic tools
Answer:	The compressor has worked well with the pneumatic tools. I found it on sale later at Lowes.
Question:	Can this compressor be used with a framing nailer
Answer:	mine will produce 150 psi. I have a nail gun and I can shoot 16 penny nails with it hooked to the compressor. I actually have a larger tank that mine is hooked to that was part of a much larger compressor. I have a hose running from the large tank and use it for nailing, for blow cleaning chain saws, etc and for airing tires as well as for my impact wrench.

Answer:	NS150C came with a 18ga 1 1/2-Inch Stapler. The description states it drives 18 ga. staples with 1/4-inch crown from 1/2-inch to 1-1/2-inch length; I used it and it worked well. Hope this helps.
Question:	Is the 16ga 2.5" nailer suitable for framing 2x4 studs; toe-in nailing. I'm have light interior framing needs; not looking to build a house
Answer:	The finish nailer has enough power but I don't think that the nail head would be sufficient for framing... Porter cable model #FC350B might be more capable for what you're looking to do.
Question:	Can you attach two tools with different pressure requirements
Answer:	Depends on pressure requirements for tools you want to use. In general yes if no more than 150 psi needed
Question:	Will this tank provide enough psi to run your porter cable framing nailer if used at a slow pace
Answer:	Like others have said, yes it will run a framing nailer. I do not recommend long term use of tools that demand a lot of air however. You are putting extra stress in the compressor motor and piston and will shorten its life. If you are planning on doing a lot of high capacity work, just pony up for a higher capacity tank. You'll save in the long run. If you just need to slap one wall together to finish a project, you'll be fine.

Answer:	you don't connect the two. the 3/8" they are describing is from the outlet of the compressor into the tank, and it is hard piped. you only need to work with the air chuck fitting, and it is standard 1/4" air fitting.

Answer:	This is 84 decibels.
Question:	Has anyone ever used this compressor with an impact wrench
Answer:	Yeah, used it many times on my vehicles. I haven't ran into any problems or tools that it can't power. I am using a better than average impact and it doesn't run out if air pulling the tires, all at once while on a lift, off my jeep.
Question:	Can it be used on its side
Answer:	Not completely on its side because the water (if hasn't been drained) can cause problem. If completely drain the water then it won't be a problem. Hope this helps.
