Question:	Would this compressor work for blowing out PLASTIC water lines in winterizing a home? What size are the connecting air fittings
Answer:	If you're talking about your sprinkler lines then yes (assuming 3/4" lines). I tested mine when we laid our new sprinkler system and the pressure drop is very rapid (5 seconds before you have to shut off and rebuild pressure). My lines are approximately 500 feet each station. Had to re-pressurize twice and any residual water after that is fine. As to the connector, it depends on your back-flow device. Mine is a Watts 009 series with 1/4" fittings. I used a quick change connector, 1/4" ball valve and a 1/4" hex connector. For the Watts, its check valve #4. I wouldn't exceed 80 psi

Answer:	I use it to blow out my water lines in my camper. You’ll need a fitting to attach the compressor to your water intake. I Keep the regulator on the compressor at 30 psi or below and all the spigots closed. Then open each one at a time until no water or vapor comes out.

With car tires, inflation from zero pressure can be accomplished, but not recommended routinely. For top ups of under inflated auto tires, this is your handy tool. The storage tank holds enough for a remote inflation if a power supply is not available. Just remember to drain the storage tank of air when you are finished for the day!!Darin

Answer:	Absolutely YES as I've done it...Depending, you might need to wait a couple seconds between wheels but it will technically do it...Of course it would be way too under powered (not enough cfm) to be used in a shop type atmosphere...Which is why I imagine a few have answered no, but you have to remember that cfm ratings are based on continuous use so short blasts obviously don't need as much cfm...This compressor pumps back up from 120 to 150 psi in about 10 seconds, so even if you had to wait, it would only be a few seconds...Plenty good for a DIY... kd

Answer:	Question or statement? I would say it would make a pretty big impact due to its heavy mass if you dropped it. If your referring to an impact wrench Yes it does work for it for a short amount of time, 8-10 seconds. I can usually get a wheel off right before it kicks in. I've removed strut towers and seized axle bolts with this too, you just have to hit it a few times.
Question:	can you use it with a framing nailer
Answer:	I've used it to frame a 12x24 workshop and it performed perfectly. I generally keep it at around 100 psi, but it can be raised to 150 psi for tools that require the higher pressure. I have had no trouble at all with intermittent (trigger-operated) tools of any sort.
Question:	Will this work with a LVLP sprayer
Answer:	I don't see why it would not work. The tank is only 2.6gal so keep that in mind. It delivers 3.8 cfm @ 40psi and 3.3 cfm @ 90psi. I have to believe your application fits somewhere in the middle of these.
Question:	What is its noise decibel number
Answer:	I don't know the actual number, but I will say it's the quietest compressor I've ever heard. I use mine in the garage with all the doors closed and can still have a normal conversation or listen to the shop radio. That, honestly, was the main reason I bought it. I had a Craftsman that could shake the dishes off their shelves in the kitchen when running and it would walk across the shop floor to where it could almost unplug itself. The Makita stays put. Most of my shop tools are Makita and I have never been disappointed. My cordless drill/screw gun I bought in 1986 and it still works every day. I think you will be very happy with this compressor.

Question:	I just ran this compressor for around 15min doing a dry run, and the tank was scalding hot with the rubber hose actually giving me a red welt, normal
Answer:	All air compressors create heat. The greater the compressor the more heat. It's physical law, squeeze air and it gets hot. The connections, hoses and even the tank will feel somewhere between hot and warm because of this. Rule one: Don't touch the hot parts. Your situation as described may or may not be normal. I don't know. If you noticed the pressure and it was within limits, it may be normal.
Question:	Is this compressor work well with pneumatic tools
Answer:	The compressor has worked well with the pneumatic tools. I found it on sale later at Lowes.
Question:	Can this compressor be used with a framing nailer
Answer:	mine will produce 150 psi. I have a nail gun and I can shoot 16 penny nails with it hooked to the compressor. I actually have a larger tank that mine is hooked to that was part of a much larger compressor. I have a hose running from the large tank and use it for nailing, for blow cleaning chain saws, etc and for airing tires as well as for my impact wrench.

Answer:	"This air compressor pump is capable of running continuously. However, to prolong the life of your air compressor, it is recommended that a 50% average duty cycle be maintained; that is, the air compressor pump should not run more than 5 minutes in any 10 minute period." (Quoted from the instruction manual) -- so the short answer would be yes.
Question:	Can anyone confirm this compressor will run off a Honda EU2000i generator
Answer:	Your generator could this pretty easily. Any (US) generator rated for 1400 watts or higher will work. Most (US) 1000w generators will work, so long as they accept spikes up to 1400w. Yours accepts 1600w continuous with spikes up to to 2000w.
