Answer:	Curt ~ Just looked at the tires on my I-R compressor & there's no info on the sidewalls; however, they look, feel and behave like pneumatic tires-- soft, flexible but don't have a 'tire valve'. My guess is that they're likely 'foam filled'. After sitting for long periods they don't seem to develop "flat spots". Wheels are made of plastic.

The compressor is mounted to a piece of 3/4" partical board (I still need to carpet it), which is mounted to some 1"x1"x1/8" angle steel, which I sandwich clamped onto my Garvin Wilderness interior rack in my 2015 Xterra which the legs were wrapped with a few wraps of "F4" or "self fusing tape" as found here on Amazon. The prevents damaging the finish on the legs, and provides another layer of vibration and noise dampening. Answer:	Air direction does not matter so you can combine two compressors. The issue I had trying to do sandblasting with 1/4" connectors is going to be flow rate. Most 1/4" connectors are only passing around 32-40 CFM. Even with two good sized compressors I wasn't getting the air flow I needed. A holding tank near the blaster and 3/8" lines helped a lot.

Question:	My unit hums when switch turned on. Am I doing something wrong
Answer:	Absolutely does. There's a clear plastic cover on the side of the unit that opens to a compartment that houses several attachments, including a pin for a basketball.
Question:	How to reset to display psi not bars
Answer:	This CH inflator has one 2 amp glass tube fuse that screws in-and-out of a (labeled) receptacle on a side panel--it's simple to replace. NOTE: Look for extra F2AL250V 6 mm x 30 mm glass tube fuses, which you can purchase cheaply on eBay, plus shipping. You might also find that type at your local hardware store or home center. NOTE: Keep extra fuses on hand just in case the factory fuse should ever blow.
Question:	It works fine when plugged in (ac) but does not work plugged into cigarette lighter (dc). what am i doing wrong
Answer:	I have 2 units. One is over 20 yrs old, has been used hundreds if not thousands of times. Many filled my truck tires to 80 psig (I adjust tire pressure to load and to road conditions). The valve at the end of the compressor hose has started to leak at around 80 psig so I bought a new unit rather than just replace that component. I still use the old unit for tires that have pressure limits of 50 psig or less. The compressor itself is still running strong.
Question:	What's the difference between the rapid kensun air compressor and the swift kensun air compressor
Answer:	The unit has a self contained 30 inch hose with tire valve fitting. The life saver is the fact that the unit has it's own 10 foot electric cord with a 120 volt grounded plug. I use the compressor and air hose plus electrical cord to service all 4 tires on both of my cars as well as my Dodge Ram 3500 truck.

Question:	Can i run a small hvlp gun with this? The gun runs around 7cfm at 29psi
Answer:	I read that one individual purchased the MAC700, which is the next one down in size. In cold weather, his compressor would not start, and had to be continually reset. He finally drained all of the oil out of the compressor, and replaced it with synthetic oil. After that, it started up and ran fine in cold weather. I understand others have stated that you are only supposed to use the factory advised oil, but under dire circumstances, it worked fine for this Gentleman. That may be because Makita builds air compressors that are practically indestructible.
Question:	Is the tank corrosion free
Answer:	Disregard comment from SAJITH MATHEW, as this compressor arrives with only enough oil for 1 one the initial fill-up! The enclosed manual will tell you the "weight" of oil to use. As for "brand", that's entirely up to you, but whatever you choose, be sure that that oil is for AIR COMPRESSORS, only!! After a bout 100 hrs of use, I just recently changed over to "Royal Purple 01513 Synfilm Recip 100 H Perf Synethetic Air Compressor" oil ava. on Amazon, as it performs better at lower temperatures, since I'm in Northern New Mexico where it can be below 30* even in April/May.
Question:	I'm using tekton 46135 3/8" id hose with milton s-212 1/4" npt m style connectors and the 2010a seems to leak air. anyone has similar issues
Answer:	The primary determiner, beyond motor size (HP rating), cylinder volume and piston mass that dictates how much current (Amps) is drawn by the compressor at any given moment, from startup with a empty tank to restart for recharging a pressure regulated tank, is a dynamic value that is a function of backpressure at the compressor output from the storage tank(s). The amount of power (watts), be it instantaneous or free running, is a function of Amps x Volts (110-120) = Watts, up to the maximum wattage rating of the compressor motor. As side note, the motor as it becomes hot from use, also losing some electrical efficiency as the internal winding resistance inside the motor increases with temperature, creating a slight increase in voltage drop across the windings, requiring the motor to draw more current. A person brashly accusing Makita of being "weaselly" (nouns transform into adjectives, not adverbs) should, at minimum, know the difference between power consumption and amps drawn, thus non weasels like question that in reality is seeking two separate answers.
