Answer:	Not sure what you are asking about. The compressor kit is pretty much universal. This system consists of compressor, lines, fittings , and pressure gauge/switch. The compressor mounts where you have space. I mounted mine behind the back seat on my 3500 Dully. The pressure gauge/switch mounts under dashboard in front. I paired it with the LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air spring kit with internal Jounce bumper. I'm very pleased with the way keeps my truck leveled while pulling my 24' 10,000 lb trailer. Both kits are good products. It took me about 6-7 hrs to install both on my 3500. No problems with Air compressor kit or air springs. 10 months on truck. Hope this helps

Answer:	No. It does come with one switch and the wiring harness has provisions for two additional switches and two solenoids at the compressor end of the harness. The instructions state that the solenoids and switches are part of the ARB locker kit(s). You can probably also buy switches and solenoids separately.

The compressor is mounted to a piece of 3/4" partical board (I still need to carpet it), which is mounted to some 1"x1"x1/8" angle steel, which I sandwich clamped onto my Garvin Wilderness interior rack in my 2015 Xterra which the legs were wrapped with a few wraps of "F4" or "self fusing tape" as found here on Amazon. The prevents damaging the finish on the legs, and provides another layer of vibration and noise dampening. Answer:	Air direction does not matter so you can combine two compressors. The issue I had trying to do sandblasting with 1/4" connectors is going to be flow rate. Most 1/4" connectors are only passing around 32-40 CFM. Even with two good sized compressors I wasn't getting the air flow I needed. A holding tank near the blaster and 3/8" lines helped a lot.

Answer:	Do not use this with a pressure washer. This item, like all pneumatic equipment, is not rated for much more than a few hundred psi. Your pressure washer almost certainly goes higher than this.

Answer:	According to the specs, it should be good for 300 psi. The one I have is only 3 ft long from one compressor tank to another tank. I have used it at 120 psi with no problems.

Answer:	Quick disconnect are great when you need them, but every connection is another restriction to getting air where you want it, so use as few as possible. The exception are double-female connectors, which are full ID. If in doubt put your mouth over the end of a connector and try blowing through it. I think you'll be shocked at how fast those restrictions add up, and how much long hoses hurt flow-rate. To screw the both ends of the hose in would only require ONE end to turn, which a swivel connection will do, and so will a HV Milton Type-V quick connect. Always use Milton HV Type-V connectors to get 74 instead of 40 CFPM flow. Many mfgs now support this standard. With a female air-chuck on one end, and a HV male quick connect on the other, plugged into a HV female quick connector on the tank/compressor, this will allow a small 3-10 gallon tank/compressor to fill tires at an amazing rate. Answer:	7 feet and some inches. with heavy duty clamps. we removed the clamps and installed a jumper cable adapter. This way I do not have to raise the hood nor scratch up the battery terminals. also replaced the coil hose with a straight hose.

Answer:	yes, the math is wrong, but that spec (used by all manufacturers) is pretty useless anyway, because it only applies at 0 PSI. Some compressors' inflation rates drop rapidly as PSI increases, better ones drop more slowly. The bottom line is that this inflates tires faster than others in the price range. I've had both this and the similarly-priced Viair 300P. This is bigger and heavier than the Viair 300P, but inflates as much faster as it is bigger and heavier, if that makes sense.

Answer:	The max pressure says it's 150 PSI... But when I tested it got around 140 PSI! But when it's close to the 150 PSI according to the pressure gauge then it gets restarted.If you do offroading, it's a really good compressor and you can permanently install it in your truck. It can withstand water, mud... you name it... if it get's damage get another one!

Question:	Can i run a small hvlp gun with this? The gun runs around 7cfm at 29psi
Answer:	I read that one individual purchased the MAC700, which is the next one down in size. In cold weather, his compressor would not start, and had to be continually reset. He finally drained all of the oil out of the compressor, and replaced it with synthetic oil. After that, it started up and ran fine in cold weather. I understand others have stated that you are only supposed to use the factory advised oil, but under dire circumstances, it worked fine for this Gentleman. That may be because Makita builds air compressors that are practically indestructible.

Answer:	Disregard comment from SAJITH MATHEW, as this compressor arrives with only enough oil for 1 one the initial fill-up! The enclosed manual will tell you the "weight" of oil to use. As for "brand", that's entirely up to you, but whatever you choose, be sure that that oil is for AIR COMPRESSORS, only!! After a bout 100 hrs of use, I just recently changed over to "Royal Purple 01513 Synfilm Recip 100 H Perf Synethetic Air Compressor" oil ava. on Amazon, as it performs better at lower temperatures, since I'm in Northern New Mexico where it can be below 30* even in April/May.

Answer:	The primary determiner, beyond motor size (HP rating), cylinder volume and piston mass that dictates how much current (Amps) is drawn by the compressor at any given moment, from startup with a empty tank to restart for recharging a pressure regulated tank, is a dynamic value that is a function of backpressure at the compressor output from the storage tank(s). The amount of power (watts), be it instantaneous or free running, is a function of Amps x Volts (110-120) = Watts, up to the maximum wattage rating of the compressor motor. As side note, the motor as it becomes hot from use, also losing some electrical efficiency as the internal winding resistance inside the motor increases with temperature, creating a slight increase in voltage drop across the windings, requiring the motor to draw more current. A person brashly accusing Makita of being "weaselly" (nouns transform into adjectives, not adverbs) should, at minimum, know the difference between power consumption and amps drawn, thus non weasels like question that in reality is seeking two separate answers. Answer:	Your guess is good as mine. I purchased this compressor in 2015. Called George in customer service. I was told to take the heads off and, I explained to George, there was so many foreign bodies of metal and crap. I have used the compressor to air tires and clean chain on bicycles. The tank would not hold air, motor never shut off. For the next 2 years, I provided hospice care to my mother and father in law plus I broke my back. My complaint about the possibility of working with George on getting it replaced fell on deaf ears because now the defective compressor is out of warranty. I'm going to be a reasonable person here, you know George, sometimes life is a priority over a defective product and worthless warranty. I now have a 120# paper weight.
