To Mount A Table Saw

There are 2 sets of mounting hardware, a 1-3/4" set for mounting to the table top and a 2-1/2" set for mounting a larger saw directly to the frame using the holes in the frame.

• Place the saw to be used on the table top.
• Move the saw around until the hole pattern matches the slot combination on the table top, secure with the mounting hardware (1-3/4" set) supplied.
• Insert the bolt through the bottom of the table and secure with flat washer, lock washer and nut.

NOTE: When mounting a larger saw directly to the frame using the mounting hardware (2-1/2" set) supplied, ALWAYS insert the bolt through the bottom of the table and secure with flat washer, lock washer and nut.

Answer:	Yes, it folds up very easily. However, it is bolted to the table saw, and it will not fold when attached, (which is good thing when you are using it!). What I do, when I haul this table saw, is just lay it on its side (with the stand attached) in the bed of the truck. It saves me unbolting the stand to haul it, and bolting it together again to to use it at the job site. The table saw that fits this stand is very light, so moving or lifting it with the stand on is no problem.

Answer:	This jobsite has variable speed with soft start motor. In addition, it comes standard with sanding disc and 10" blade. This is basically a 2in1 machine that we recently launch last year.

Answer:	No. The saw at its highest point is only 3 1/4 inches from table to the tip of the blade. In order to cut anything thicker you would need to flip the wood over to finish the cut.

Question:	Bosch 4100-10 lists two weights 60 lbs and 124.2 lbs...Why is there a difference
Answer:	The table saw itself weights about 60lbs, if you include the stand with the wheels added to the saw it weights more. I believe the d/c 4100-9 weights 124.2 with all the accessories. The 4100-10 is listed as weighting about 110lbs shipped, so 110lbs is the weight with everything attached. Does that help make more sense?

Question:	I want to be able to cut a 4 by 4. can i replace the blade with od greater than
Answer:	NO you cannot. A greater diameter blade say 12" would bottom out on the framing below and would reduce the life of the motor as well.

Answer:	I put a Dado stack on my DW745 all the time. Accualy most of the time. Yes the arbor isn't long like others, so you're unable to fit the whole stack but i put almost a 1/2" stack and it fits perfectly without the washer and just the bolt to tighten it. But anything less than 1/2" stack, you're able to fit the washer and bolt on the arbor with the stack for tightening. hope that helped with the second part. So others say Yes it fits and i say Yes your able to put up to a certain thickness of a dado stack in ur dw745 from daily personal experience. the DW745 was my first and only table saw i've had and i'm going 2yrs strong beating the hell out of it.
Question:	Is this really necessary for a dado? i have a dewalt 10" saw. can't i just remove stock plate and cut
Answer:	I am going answer your question by asking a question. How much do you know about sawing wood? How much do you know about how a table saw works? You asked this question and I fear for your safety. Quick answer, yes a throat plate on any saw with dado blades is a requirement if you value your fingers or eyes. The intent of a throat plate on a saw is to insure a level, smooth surface whilst the blade (along with the motor) does the job of spinning the blade to cut the wood. I'm moy pm
Question:	How large of a dado does this plate support? Some people have complained about plates that only support 3/8" dadoes when the saw itself can use
Answer:	the plate it self is able to cut up to 13/16''. that's not the problem, the problem is the arbor that supports the blades are not long enough. So check your saw to see if the length of the arbor will hold 3/4 dados. Hope this helps
Question:	What is the difference between the DeWalt 7480 and DeWalt 7490 tablesaw to see if the DWE7402DI throatplate will work
Answer:	My research found that..."The DEWALT DWE7402DI Dado Throatplate for 10" Portable Table Saw allows for use of stacked dado cutters. This insert is designed to be used with DWE7490 and DWE7491 Table saw versions." Seems to me that the older model throat plate would fit the 7480's, and this one will fit the 7490's.
