| Answer: | there is a fundamental issues with this idea. even if we get the rocks as cold as ice cubes and place them into a drink, they will not melt like ice would. It's the melting of the ice that cools down the drink so effectively. The process of water changing phase from solid to liquid (ice to water) requires more energy than simply heating the same amount of water by 1 degree C. Said another way, if you have an ice cube at 0 degrees C and you want to melt it to a liquid at 0 degree C this requires more energy than heating the same amount of liquid by 1 degree C. The energy required to do this is called the Heat of Fusion. The heat energy required for the phase change from ice to water (ice cubes melting in your drink) has to come from somewhere and that is from your scotch, or cocktail or whatever. | Answer: | I don't recomend this paticular power feeder for this application. The reach is approximately 17" but there are other variables involved which make that number little lower. Also, its a little under powered for that application.I think you would need a 1/4hp v.s for that application. Hope this helps. |

I had a larger feeder that I used for feeding lumber into a joiner years ago and it did the trick. |

The fence locks up entirely on the front tube and slides on pads not only on the rear rail but also on the table top so you can only go as wide as your saw top. The question is why would you want to? On "the 52" version , I made a extension top out of 2 pieces of MDF glued together for an additional 27" x 32" that sits between the front and rear rails for added work space and support for wide pieces. | Answer: | On mine the bolt head and nut were 1" and 15/16". I do not have the original bolt to say what sizes are needed to remove the upper frame. You will also need some other tools, on mine i needed a 3/16" Allen wrench and a Phillips screwdriver. One may also need a 10 mm wrench depending on how your blade guard and guide post are attached. Shop fox suggests the following: Adjustable Wrenches . 2 Phillips Screwdriver #2...1 Hex Wrench 5mm and 3mm...1 ea |

| Answer: | I have a delta 14 inch, and the pins don't line up properly. So, I drilled into the block so the pins on the bandsaw would fit into the rider block, and I cut the pins off the top of the riser block and bolted it together. Works just fine. The blade guard attachment certainly leaves more to be desired, but with some minor modification it is working as well. If you are not confident of making the modifications yourself, then buy the proper kit for your bandsaw. |

| Answer: | This should work, but you should be prepared to make some slight modifications. The main fitment issues with these are lining up the locating pins. I had to drill out one hole in the base and one in the saw. The holes are there they just may need to be opened up some to fit. Once I did that, it's worked great on my Ridgid 14". |
